We went at 6.30 am with guide Ryan on a Zodiac boat with 6 others. We saw 2 mothers and their Cubs, and a lone male each wandering by the shore of the Clayquot inlet overturning large rocks looking for eels and crabs to eat. It was fascinating. We could hear the Bears grunting and heavy breathing as they ambled... More

Our family of six ventured the open ocean to fish with Josh Temple (who my boys have now enshrined as God of Fishing). Although when we booked we didn't know who would take us fishing, the overall experience with Ocean Outfitters was class A - great job Ocean Outfitters in providing all the amenities needed (espresso!). We had great luck... More

We went out on a Zodiac boat and was outfitted with a suit to keep you warm. Everyone was so comfortable. The best part was we got to see a Momma bear and her three Cubs. The Cubs were spotted in a tree as the Momma was picking thru the rocks looking for crabs. Over all we saw about 6... More

My wife and I booked a day to the Hot Springs with Ocean Outfitters, and everything was first class. Good reservation system and quality of service, top-quality boats, excellent knowledgeable guide. We enjoyed the hot springs, saw a bear, saw a few whales and enjoyed a fun "roller-coaster ride" on the boat on the way back.

Nice checkin area, friendly, knowledgeable staff and tour guides. A very good company to book a whale watching or trip to Hot Springs Cove tour.

Ryan was our captain and took up on a fantastic journey through all the islands by boat to find bears coming to the waters edge to feed in the morning. Would you believe not only did we see a mama bear we saw her three tiny cubs two of which spent their time climbing a tree whilst mama bear foraged... More

After a very poor experience with Remote Passages the previous day, this tour was just great. Our guide Kyle was excellent - very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about wildlife and the country. Kyle promised us bears and took us straight to them - first of all a mother black bear scaveging for crabs on the shoreline then 3 cubs suddenly... More

Online, we booked a 10:00 tour, however it was pushed back until 10:30 which was fine because we just went and got breakfast. Got all in our snowsuits and hats and gloves to go whale watching and our captain was late. We didn't actually leave until about probably 11:30, which was fine because we didn't have anything going on for... More

Went out on the zodiac and had the best time. Defiantly the best whale watching experience I've ever been on! The captain was born & raised in the area & was very knowledgeable. All staff was very friendly and nice :) We got to see all sorts of wildlife, very cool trip.

Brilliant! Took the whale charter - the young ( well compared to me) guide was so incredibly patient and gently ducked fur ages to make sure we saw 8 - yes 8 grey whales, sea otters, sea lions and seals. What a kind young guy we had a great trip ( Ashton kutcher - esque you know who you are).... More
