My wife and I wanted to take a surf lesson while in Tofino, and the resort we were staying at had a package deal that included a lesson from Surf Sister. We were probably going to go with Surf Sister in any case, since they came highly recommended by others who have taken lessons with them. We lucked out on... More

I have been to surf sister many times when I first started surfing and when I go up there with friends who want to learn to surf. Tia is the best.

Can't say enough good things about Surf Sisters, from stopping in to inquire about a lesson, to hitting the surf with our awesome instructor Stef, it was the most awesome day on the water and so glad I did it. Safety was paramount, and fun just followed along. I am hooked!

It was time for our youngest to have a surf lesson. After spending time out on this coast every single year, with a group of families, our kids have grown up playing in the surf as an annual tradition. When they reach a certain age/ size/ physical maturity/ coordination, they are ready to move up to surf boards. A 3... More

I highly recommend taking lessons with Surf Sister. My instructor, Kate, was excellent. She took the time to observe me, thought about what I was struggling with, and offered advice that made perfect sense. I was up and riding the waves by the end of the first lesson. It was incredibly fun and I cannot wait to go back for... More

When I signed up for surfing lessons I really wasn't sure if it was something I would enjoy. They base the wet suit on your weight and mine was quite small, however I quickly got over that. I was nervous about going into the ocean, but it was such an amazing experience. I never thought surfing was something I would... More

Not sure if this is the correct use of the vernacular, but it seems fitting. Loved it, my partner and I both had a great time and learned everything we need to know in order to achieve surfing enlightenment. I was always put off by the idea of surf instruction, and thought it was more of a self-disciplined, learn the... More

I completed a 3-day surf camp through Nicole from Surf Sister. She was the bomb! Her lessons were simple yet packed with valuable information. The feedback she provided during and after the lessons were also amazing, helping me get the technique just right. I would definitely recommend booking through Surf Sister for any of your surfing needs! I will also... More

We booked a family lesson (2.5 hours) to learn to surf. The time flew by so fast. We really enjoyed the lesson - it was a bit hands off (but I think that just getting out and trying it was part of the point), but I (the most nervous of the group) didn't feel pushed - our instructor was fine...
