I have been up here about 10 times and never tire of the beauty of nature here. Last year we stayed right on the Sound and woke up each morning to the quiet, peaceful magnificence of this water and islands. We were visited by eagles and boats among other things. The ride to get there may be long but awesome-- a... More

This is one of the most amazing locations I've visited, with views across water to the tree - covered mountains beyond. In the sun, or in the mist, it looks beautiful. And the wildlife is stunning too. Tofino is an excellent, friendly town from which to explore it further.

Kayaked for over three hours and was simply in awe of the super natural beauty of this place. I would not miss it.

Did a kayaking tour. Very easy, lots of coves and islands as well as wildlife. Would spend a week here next time, not just two days.

bear watching via zodiac ('Remote passages') with Fraser as our guide - spotted 5 Black bears - including a mother and 2 Cubs. Fraser appreciated the needs of the animals whilst also helped us photograph and understand the habitat of the Bears. Absolute quiet, remote beauty, wonderful wildlife, including watching the bears hunt for shell fish on the stony beach!

Beautiful location best viewed from the water. Take a tour from Tofino. We went in search of bear and although we did see a couple, they were a long way off and we had to queue up with other boats that had realised these were the only bear on show that day. You'll need to wear the survival suits the... More

An exquisite, wild remote location: I visited here one time on a fishing adventure. Incidentally the fishing was Fabulous. We caught our limit of Salmon and released a lot.

We loved the view and the kayaking. Sitting at Shelter, Jack's outdoors (the pub) or numerous places in town was a view unlike the ocean beaches. Quiet, mountainous and everchanging.
