We took the 2.5 trip on the enclosed boat. We very quickly saw a young grey whale and followed him for quite a distance. It breached several times and our guide said that that doesn't happen very often. We saw several sea otters and sea lions. He also took us to an area where we saw a couple of bald... More

I was so pleased by the staff and guides at Remote Passages; even if we hadn't seen the wildlife we did, it would have been a good time. Given that we saw a pod of orca, a grey whale, bald eagles, sea otters, and sea lions, it was an extraordinary excursion. You never know what you're going to get on... More

We went bear watching and kayaking with Remote Passages. Bear watching was great, we saw 3 bears, one with cubs, the guide was very friendly and informative about black bears. He stayed late so that we could continue watching the bear cubs. Another day we went kayaking, we had just our party making up the entire group, plus two guides.... More

Not only did we enjoy the bear watching tour on the zodiac, but our guide Tyson also made sure that we saw lots of wildlife and taught us about bears. As it was sunny and warm out, it took the bears a while to come out, but once they did, it was pure joy to watch. Highlight of the trip:... More

We booked hot springs tour. We got spoiled by Jay and Bird as our guides. First off to the inlet and seeing a pod of migrating orca's! Next in line a mother bear and her two cubs on the shore. On our way to the hot springs we spotted sea otters and eagles and on the way back sea lions... More

We did two trips with Remote Passages Bear Watching We had a fantastic afternoon in nice weather with our guide Tyson. We saw 2 single bears and a mother with 3 cubs. Each time we were able to get quite close and spend quite a long time observing. Tyson was very knowledgeable about the area and wildlife and was as... More

We went out on the Hot Springs Cove tour with Fraser and it was great. They made sure we had weather protection, offering jackets, toques, and gloves. We saw grey whales, seals, sea lions, otters, and eagles. At the Hot Springs Cove, there were a bunch of cute dogs hanging around - generally friendly or at least indifferent to the... More

We booked at 8.00 am and got on a 9.30 trip. Very friendly and well organised. Felt totally confident in arrangements. Excellent boat driver and guide - very knowledgeable and amusing. Saw lots of single bears, and a pair wandering along the coastline. Also spotted bald eagles, including youngsters squabbling over catch, harbour seals and amazing moon jellyfish. Only 10... More

My partner and I went on an excursion with a tour group and we had a great day! All the team at remote passages were very friendly. Fraser took us out on the boat, unfortunately the bears did not come out to see us but we had a great day all the same! We went to the hot springs which... More

My husband and I did the hot springs your. It was 7 and a half hours long. We had an experienced guide who explained a lot about the marine life and habitat. We saw whales, a black bear, dolphins, sea otters and sea lions and got to soak in amazing hot springs! Best part of our tofino trip!
