Justin was an awesome guide, very helpful and accomodating. We ended up coming back with huge smiles on our faces, a box full of big salmon and halibut, and saw a super playful pod of Orcas. Highly recommended!

We had a great guide (thanks Leon) and a fantastic time despite very rough seas. Leon handled the boat, tackle and us very well, and helped sort our fish out when we got back to shore. My only suggestion would be to take seasickness tables beforehand - I never get seasick normally but when we went out it was foggy... More

We had an awsome day, very friendly fishing guide, and Jay was extremely helpful with the booking, he worked around with our budget by finding us another person to join our charter. We took home 5 Salmon (4 king 1 pink) and 2 Halibut. We highly reccomend this company to book your fishing charters through. Also Jays Fly & Tackle... More

I went on the salmon and halibut fishing excursion with my wife. Our tour guide was Adam. He was fun to hang out with for the day. After a slow start, we eventually caught five salmon. One of the salmon was rather small so we used it for bait to fish halibut later in the day. The second half of... More

I can highly recommend Clayoquot! My brother-in-law and I booked a half-day salmon fishing-trip beginning of august with another couple. We caught 7 salmons and had a really fun time. Very professional organised. Great expereience, I'd book with Clayoquot again.

Great guides, quality tackle and great fishing. Best 3 days sea fishing I have ever done. Boats are quality vessels with all the essentials needed for a day on the briny. Knowledgable guide put us on to the coho and Chinooks one day, halibut and ling the next.

Booked a two day deep sea fishing adventure with Clayoquot ventures, the staff were very helpful from the start with advise on how we could structure our days, getting our licence on-line to arranging lunch for the trip. I have been on several deep sea fishing trips with Clayoquot Ventures as usual the equipment was top notch, and our guide... More

We had a great day on the water. On our way out to fish we passed a raft of otters, all lying on their backs, in a kelp bed, perhaps 100 or more. They watched us as we sped past, 100 heads, 200 eyes all turning in unison. It was amazing. Jason, our guide, did a great job: 4 Chinook;... More

Thank you Jay and all your staff. Our trip at the end of July was a great success. Your guides did a great job of getting us to the fish despite the rough water and it was fun to listen to the banter of other guiding outfits asking "where are the fish" when we had already caught our limit. Your... More
