We booked a trip with WCAS early September having done a tour of all options in Tofino. We picked this company as they were locals and our guide/driver was born in Tofino. We had an amazing trip .....very fortunate and saw several bears, a bear chase between males and mum with a cub. In addition to this we had the... More

We took the bear-watching excursion with moderate expectations. While the desk attendant assured us that recent trips had enjoyed a 100% success rate with seeing bears, we were a little skeptical and feared it might be a brief glimpse of a flash of fur through the trees-kind of experience. To our delight, we enjoyed four extensive, extremely close-up views of... More

Unfortunately we didn't get to go on a trip so I'm unable to comment on many aspects of WCAS's service (although the jackets in the shop looked first rate!) but what I can comment on is their integrity. We turned up very excited (and slightly late) to be given the sad news that they'd been out twice so far that... More

We had a great trip! Saw heaps of marine life and the staff onboard had heaps of knowledge on the wildlife plus area. Was pretty cold out on the water so dress warm! Bring your camera we got heaps of really good shots! Overall a well enjoyed experience!

Amazing service, great knowledge of area plus marine life! We saw a Grey whale, Sealions, Sea Otters and a few bald eagles! Plenty of room and great viewing points from both levels of boat. Had heaps of good photo opportunities. Overall great experience.

Do not waste your time with this company. They cancelled our fishing trip at short notice and claimed to have tried to telephone us twice (no missed calls on mobile log). Their explanation was very flimsy and it was only by chance that we had not already paid online for our fishing licences. AVOID.

From the moment we arrived at the base the service was superb. Brett was so friendly and professional. We loved leaving the harbour and being told interesting things about the wildlife and local area. Both Todd and Brett were extremely enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgeable. What bad luck we didn't see a whale. It was not for want of trying but... More

A1 Experience! The operations staff were friendly and accommodating. Captain Tony was fantastic. He made sure our trip to the Hot Springs Cove was all the more memorable by taking the time to explain local history; stopping to view the aquatic life; and allow us plenty of time to take pictures and answer our questions. It was a full day... More

We were in Tofino for only a couple of days with another family and our teenage children. One of the days we went with WCAS on their Hot Springs Tour. There were two options for departure, 9:30 and 12:30, we opted for the earlier which I think was the right one as the hot springs got busier as the day... More

We took a "Hot Springs" tour on Sunday June 29, 2014. We got lucky with weather - a bit of rain but mostly clear, blue skies. The views were stunning. I thought I was in love with the Northern Pacific before – now I’m in awe! Our captain, Tony, was friendly and non-rushed. When he spotted some wild life (and... More
