Great beach! We had a big storm coming over when visiting Long Beach. Awesome waves, good to clear your head and enjoy outdoors.

Went here to walk the beach. Here you have to pay to park and it's more crowded than Chesterman Beach but is a good walking and beach combing spot. Saw some surfers here too but they seemed to all be beginners, so not as much fun to watch as the few we saw on Chesterman.

love the beauty, not thrilled with how much it costs for a hour walk on the beach, almost 16 dollars for 2

The view and beach are spectacular. Since we came this time in winter, the parking lot was not busy and I think they could suspend the pay parking.

No wonder surfers love it. The miles of waves and sand just drew you in... the sunset was just breathtaking.

Place to give lots of walk. We got there by car, a lift we took in the city with a very friendly and lovely english-canadian couple. It was warm and foggy, so it was a great scenery to take great photographs around.

Stopped off here coming from Tofino to Ucluelet. Tide was out, absolutely beautiful. Perfect expression of the west coast. Public washrooms well maintained and clean.

I rented a fullsuit with booties (never done that), a massive 10' board and headed out to Long Beach whose huge tides and sloping floor provide long happy rides. A seal popped its head next to me and for the next 45 minutes was my companion, freaking me out with each ghostly pass under my legs. I'm told their pretty... More
