Came here with Adventure Tours on one of their day boat trips. Weather was glorious (always a plus), and the boat was very impressive. Saw about 6 or so bears (which seems to be about average, based on other reviews), but regardless, that's not really on the Tour company. Scenery was utterly stunning; sailing up the fjord was quite beautiful... More

Lots of bears, wildlife and the experience was once in a lifetime. This is not something you can do in many places in the world. The amount of whales, seals, eagles and bears in one area is like being in a wildlife documentary, but in REAL life!

Attentive and informative crew, comfortable boat. However, it was a long day with little to see. We saw one whale and one young grizzly bear. The captain was great and took us as close and stayed as long as possible. On the way back the boat stopped and we saw several eagles.

We signed up for a Grizzly Bear Cruise but we didn't get to see many (one too far away and another hidden in the grass). However we had an awesome time with the Orcas! We saw at least 14 Orca whales and at the end of the cruise they feed the eagles so you get great eagle pictures too.

We were not sure whether June was a good month to visit, but it was. We went all the way to Prince Rupert primarily to go to Khutzeymateen and did a day boat trip there. Saw about 8 bears at fairly close range. The whole experience was fantastic with magnificent views of forest, mountains and water and a tranquil place.... More

Been there twice and am planning another trip with relatives. It requires a boat to get there, preferably a private one so you can spend the night. Best viewing in the morning. This isn't the salmon fishing spectacular, rather a look at normal routines on the beach and nearby shore. One morning there was a large boar digging/eating clams. You... More

Absolutely fantastic trip. The scenery is magnificent, the seals laying over the rocks, the eagles soaring in the sky and of course the magnificent grizzly bears. We were lucky enough to see 7 on our trip and l feel humbled that l was apart of this experience. The staff on board are very friendly and knowledgeable, you also have lunch... More

Fantastic experience rain or shine. Totally worth the trip! A feast for the eyes and the soul. Lots of wildlife and tons of open space.

The scenery and the animals. In particular, I liked the smell and sounds of the ocean. The trip was expensive with the charter and would have expected a better lunch for such money.
