Early start but a sunny day full of stunning vistas, ships crew were good in that they pointed out attractions and wildlife as we went. BC Ferries had a bit of a shocker in that they ask an additional $35 to use the forward facing lounge, i hadnt been on a ferry where i had to pay for that, the... More

This trip was well worthwhile despite the fact that we were unlucky with the weather which was very wet. The route was such that it was never dull with some good views of whales and even one black bear. Due to the early start and late finish it is highly recommended to book a cabin.

The views in the inside passage were well worth the 16 hour trip. We booked the forst class room ($35) and paid for the meals (Breakfast and Dinner). Their food was a buffet and well done.

What a beautiful day. Perfect weather and the most spectacular scenery. You MUST make a reservation, and we highly recommend booking a berth--we were up at 4:30 a.m. to get to the check-in on time, and were very grateful for a comfy bed and a shower afterwards. If you're travelling with a teen, the berth will also be useful when they... We travelled from Port Hardy to Prince Rupert on their day excursion with the stop at Bella Bella. Extremely comfortable and we felt that the extra paid for the Aurora Lounge well worth the cost for the added comfort, although the lounge was nowhere near capacity. Great scenery of course, and really good meals served in the onboard restaurant.

Our whole trip to Canada had been planned around boarding the ferry for it's weekly sailing down The Inside Passage to Port Hardy. Was a bit worried as this was a ferry trip and my only experience had been across to the Isle of Wight and a cross channel ferry. However, as this was going to be a once in... More

We subscribed to a BC Ferries ad inviting us to take advantage of the northern circle route and a self drive adventure - BC ferries helped us with all the reservations - this ship is top class, the surprise was the cruise ship atmosphere that we were experiencing - well done crew - I recommend this travel package by BC... I came up on the Northern Expedition which was a new ship...however I found this one a bit better. This was mainly due to the cabins not being right out on the deck. Overall, an awesome experience on board!

We took the ferry to Skidegate in the daytime, about 7 hrs to cross. The lounges and restaurant were comfortable and the food was adequate. Of course, there is not much to see after leaving Prince Rupert, but we did see signs of orcas.

Thank rnathan
