A small section of Fort George Park has been rededicated as the Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park -- more than 100 years ago, the First Nation that lived in the village here were forced to relocate 15 miles out of the city. It was all to make way for the railway and other development, and only the graveyard was left behind.... More

Ft George Park is a fantastic park with something for every age. If you are lucky enough to visit during the July 1st weekend, there is live entertainment, food booths, and vendors scattered throughout. The fire engine was always a favourite for me when I was a kid, it was a favorite for my kids, and I am hoping one... More

The park has some GREAT places to take family photos. One of ours was on the old red train that is situated in the middle of the park. In that area you will find different kids obstacles that make for great photos as well (for young and old) as well as big beautiful deciduous trees. Would totally recommend it!

Good place to get out and explore with the family. There are some nice playground areas for younger kids and a large grassy area for almost anything,

We have gone to Fort George park for many different occasions. It is a beautiful park. Take a stroll along the river. Children love the playground in the park.

I hosted a large event here. I booked it through the city. It is an amazing place to hold an event. Clean, quiet, beautiful, and reasonably priced! The city was organized and very helpful. They gave me full access to whatever I needed and responded to my questions promptly.

Went to the park and rode on the train. It was a steam engine with the engineer and conductor dressed in their costumes. My grandson loved it. The dinosaur museum was great for kids with lots of activities for children as well as reptiles, furs, stuffed animals etc. There was a place to eat your picnic lunch along with a... More

Water park, playground, picnic area, Exploration Place, band shell, view of the Fraser river (not the Nechako). Great place to unwind or let the kids burn off some energy.
