Went to Fort George for Canada Day Celebrations

We have gone to Fort George park for many different occasions. It is a beautiful park. Take a stroll along the river. Children love the playground in the park.

I hosted a large event here. I booked it through the city. It is an amazing place to hold an event. Clean, quiet, beautiful, and reasonably priced! The city was organized and very helpful. They gave me full access to whatever I needed and responded to my questions promptly.

Went to the park and rode on the train. It was a steam engine with the engineer and conductor dressed in their costumes. My grandson loved it. The dinosaur museum was great for kids with lots of activities for children as well as reptiles, furs, stuffed animals etc. There was a place to eat your picnic lunch along with a... More

Water park, playground, picnic area, Exploration Place, band shell, view of the Fraser river (not the Nechako). Great place to unwind or let the kids burn off some energy.

The small train in the park was actually a working engine and cars that helped lay the tracks for the normal sized trains. There is a water park for the kids. On the grounds is a small cemetery for the Lheidli T'enneh. The views of the Fraser River and the cut banks are lovely.

This visit we mainly concentrated on the children features. The water park is fantastic & this kids spent hours in it. Packed a picnic lunch & you will be all set. There is also a playground. The train ride will cost but is not expensive. You can also get an ice cream while you are there. Walked around the park... More

Huge, well maintained park. Lot's of play structures for kiddies, swings & water park. Miniature train & museum. Paved shaded walking trails & nice view of the Fraser River & train tracks on opposite bank.

The weather was awesome while the Kiwi Contingent was with us so lots of afternoon visits to the playground, the water park, a ride on the "choo choo train'! And of course, the two-year olds' birthday party! A good place to take youngsters as they can run wild under minimum supervision! Highly recommended!

The park is very beautiful with flower beds and childrens play ground and good walking path. Also let the kids enjoy a ride on the little steam engine.
