We are located on the beautiful Naramata Bench in the heart of the Okanangan Valley. At LA FRENZ , we believe the quality in the bottle begins in the vineyard. Cutting edge and meticulous vineyard practices are used in combination with varieties tailored to the unique soils and micro climates of our vineyard sites to produce the vibrant and intense grape characters found only in the Okanagan Valley. The potential of the resulting fruit, using experience and careful stewardship throughout the vinification process, is maintained and enhanced to create exceptional wines that truly reflect the grape variety and vineyard site.We welcome you to our unique wine shop overlooking Lake Okanagan. This spectacular view was featured on the $100 banknote from 1954 to 1975. From April through October, we are open daily, 10am to 5pm for tastings and purchases.

Friends at La Frenz .... Lovely setting

We just love the wines at La Fenz. The grounds are lovely. The docents are helpful. The wines are diverse and wonderful. Don't miss this winery on your visit to the Naramata Bench.

La Frenz makes wonderful wines, they are some of my husband's favourites. He was looking forwards to visiting this winery all day and we made sure to stop in before the end of the day. However, we were disappointed by the service in the tasting room, we didn't feel very welcome. Even though we purchased wine, we probably won't visit... More

It is quaint and the wines are really good. The disappointment came when they advised that they did not make Rose for the second year in a row! Too bad. Their Chardonnay was worth purchasing.

Really enjoyed our visit here. The view when you walk in is stunning - and it's the same view that was on the original Canadian one dollar bill! Picked up a bottle of their muscat for home - love the flavours.

We came here for a tasting. While their wines are reasonable and comparable, I ended up buying their liqueur muscat, which really hit me in the right spot. Good collection and some of their wines have won several medals. Great view from the tasting room.

This winery is almost a secret since there are very few places you can buy their products besides direct from the winery. I order a few mixed cases each year and am never disappointed. In fact, each year seems to be better. Make this place a mandatory stop.

I had the pleasure of visiting this winery during the Fall Festival in October and upon first arriving I was immediately taken in by the entire atmosphere. Not only does this modest tasting room have an authenticity not always found among wineries of the area, but it overlooks a breathtaking view that is equally as rare. I was welcomed by... More

We have taken La Frenz off our list of wineries to bring visitors to. Why would we do that as they are listed as the "best small winery for a second year in a row"? We recently did a wine tour which included five local wineries (small and large) with our friends two couples from the USA. We had been... More

Dear Garry C, As the owner of LA FRENZ I'm very surprised and disappointed that your experience here was anything less than excellent and I do apologise that it wasn't. We try to hire the very best staff possible and train them to a standard that we expect them to treat our valued customers. "Small winery of the year" at... More

We have visited this lovely winery many many times over the years. No cute little shop, no cutesy souvenirs, no cheese and crackers. Just wonderful wine and knowledgeable people pouring it. We were in the Okanagan just last week and because I have to insert a date of my visit, I entered Sept. 2014. That's not true though. We did... More

We tasted several wines here. We chose to purchase a 2012 Shiraz (Rockyfeller VYD) a smokey tasting Shiraz; 2012 Reserve Chardonnay; and a NV Liqueur Muscat a nice desert wine.
