If i could give them a zero score, I would! We were totally ignored at the entrance of the restaurant, waiting to be reeived and seated. After 5 minutes of still watching the staff walk by us while completely ignoring our presence, we seated ourselves at a table - Still no service, no acknowledgements, no menus, no glass of water, nothing!... We stopped,on a very hot day, not for wine tasting but for a spot of lunch.A nice covered patio area with good seating & a beautiful view of the vineyards. The resident chef is Darin Paterson who has the Bogner's restaurant in Penticton. We had the $32 special for two which included two tasting glasses of wine. The starter was a... More

I sent this note to the winery and to the chef - neither bothered to answer: Friends and I stopped at the Red Rooster winery this weekend to have lunch on your patio. The location and facilities are lovely, the weather was perfect, and the wait staff polite. Unfortunately, those things were not enough to make lunch at the Pecking... More

Heres the low down. Im a local, and I always do my best to support our local businesses. I like to be a tourist in our own town, and have become quite a wine lover. I bring many new clients to our local wineries on a continuous basis. I do like red rooster wine, however, because of my horrible experience,... More

We visited this winery at the beginning of September. The setting is beautiful on the Naramata Bench and the staff very helpful. Red Rooster wines are excellent and quite well priced. We were there too early for lunch but the Pecking Room restaurant looked nice.

We stopped here for lunch and a glass of wine. The view is not as good as at many of the other winery's nearby. Food was average and the service wasn't good. It was a disappointing experience. Try somewhere else.

Staff didn't interrogated after each my sip whether I like their wine or not (like it happen in other wineries). They gave not a lot information about the wine though. Wine tasting was unobtrusive and informal. Nice interior and bar. Overall I like it.

On a recent trip to Naramata, we stopped at Red Rooster. We had a lovely lunch with the suggested wine pairings. The patio is lovely and the service was good. The wine tasting experience was mediocre - the staff did not seem well informed about the wines and the service was desultory at best. We went to six other wineries... More

Set on beautiful grounds, but just found the tasting to be very blah, the information was robotic and memorized, and the staff was very cold. the boutique is worth a visit though. personally i found visiting the smaller wineries more enjoyable

My wife and I were there to sit on patio and enjoy some wine...... We were totally ignored for 10 long minutes.... No acknowledgements, no hello, no " I'll be right with you".... we left after 10 minutes of this treatment.... No apologies on the way out either. Needless to say, we'll not be back and would not recommend this... More
