Red Rooster is a fairly large scale winery (for Naramata), but the service I received the other day was just as friendly as a small mom and pop operation. The lady was only on her SECOND day, but was very knowledgeable about pairing with food, etc. My congrats to her for being so great! The statues outside aren't to my... More

We enjoyed chatting with the woman who served our tasting. The Gewürztraminer, the Viognier and the Ice wine were delicious. The reds left a lot to be desired. It's worth as stop to taste the whites wines.

Visited the wine shop and tasted the white wines - including the ice wine. Did not find anything to buy - the ice wine was delicious however outside my budget >$50 for the bottle.

If you are trying to find that 'perfect' bottle of wine (which bottle isn't perfect though?!) go to Red Rooster. Megan and Robbie have assisted me numerous times and their knowledge and professionalism is paramount. It is obvious the staff at Red Rooster thoroughly enjoy their job and make your visit something to remember. Don't miss this winery on your... More

You could tell the gent who was serving us in the tasting room enjoyed his work. He was happy to talk about the wines in detail, and even after we made a purchase, recommended some other great wineries in the area for us to check out (and we did!) The vineyard has a picture postcard view of Okanagan Lake and... More

We've been here before, but not likely again. Their success has obviously gone to their heads, and we found it cold, rushed, and insincere. We did do the tasting, and bought a few to tide us over as it was day 1 of 6 staying in the area, and we needed some inventory. We were very disappointed to learn, a... More

This is one of our favourite wineries that we visit each time in the Okanagan Valley. Always bringing home wine for future enjoyment. This time we stayed to enjoy lunch on the patio overlooking Okanagan Lake and the vineyards. The prices are very reasonable and the views priceless. The salad was made with fresh organic greens, double hung yogurt and... More

Robbie made us feel welcome, was attentive and fairly instructional during our tasting. The view from the grounds is second to none. Great background for photos. Interesting sculptures. I bought the Syrah for my parent's anniversary next month. Possibly the best ice wine of the trip.

We met some friends at the Pecking Room at Red Rooster Winery today. It was their first visit; we have been several times. The food was excellent, portions good, amazing flavours. Service was also efficient and sociable. Everyone had something different and no one was disappointed. What is disappointing is that when one looks up the Pecking Room on the... More
