I wouldn't normally review a winery but this one stood out. We spent a bunch of extra time with the son of the owner as he walked us through the growing and maintenance process. It was time he did not have to spend and we were grateful for the extra attention as we learned a lot about the wine making.... More

I wasn't sure what to expect as I approached the unassuming winery but the greeting by the owner's dogs and the owner himself made me feel right at home. It was right before closing but the staff member there was so friendly and offered us a tasting with lots of information and stories about each of the wines. I was... More

On a winery tour in Naramata my friend and I encountered this little gem of a winery: an awesome surprise. The winery is cute and the scenery is breathtaking. All the wines were absolutely amazing, even the one "with a story" - process went wrong and the owner wasn't happy about that particular wine! But they told us the story... More

My girlfriends and I stopped in at the Howling Bluff Winery on our Grape Escapes tour and this was by far the best stop for all of us. The owner is extremely personable, shared history about his winery, and gave us tons of info about his wines! We all appreciated him taking the time with us to explain what kinds... More

Thank you so much for stopping by! I always hope folks will enjoy our wines however I feel it is very important to tell the story of wine in a way that people can relate to. Please come again in the future and remember "there will be a quiz at the end" :) Cheers Luke More

We have been visiting Howling Bluff Estate Winery every time we make the trip to the Okanagan, annually for about 4 years now. We never pass up the opportunity to drop in and chat with Luke - and of course, sample his consistently amazing wines. In my opinion Howling Bluff is producing some of the most enjoyable wines in the... More

We added this winery to our list to visit as a last-minute decision and it was a pleasant surprise. Although it was tiny, they offered delicious wines and were very friendly. Worth a stop if you have time!

Hi folks thank you for dropping by. We are indeed a small winery, only one non family employee, hopefully you experienced how hard we try as a family winery to grow great grapes and make good wine. I suppose one could argue that with 3 BC Lieutenant Governor awards for Excellence in BC wines we produce great wine. One of... More

We didn't plan to visit HB but saw the interesting sign and stopped in. Glad we did - the wine is very good and the atmosphere is so friendly. No "all about me" servers here. Good stories, lots of fun. We came away with good memories of the winery and a delicious Pinot Noir. Also took a drive down Three... More
