My wife and I and our college age daughter had a fantastic trip with Wildheart Adventures! - Kim is a excellent guide; very competent, personable and knowledgeable about all things kayaking and the local environment. We had a lot of fun on the paddle, with the added bonus of a great lunch stop on the beach that Kim provided. We... More

This was the most fantastic way to see whales - Orca and Humpbacks, and to see the west coast. I convinced my mom to come with me, she was super nervous about kayaking on the ocean but she did great as did everyone on our trip. Most people did not have much or any kayaking experience prior to this trip,... More

I was on the same trip as sammy whiskers and Duckdeux and the much more accurate account of the trip would have to go to sammy whiskers. Duckdeux started complaining before we even started packing up the boats in Telegraph Cove and they did have plenty of time in the singles throughout the 6 day trip as we all took... More

I did a six day kayak trip with a great group and great guides. It was my first time in Canada and my first time in a kayak..... We saw whales every day, it was amazing. We had so much fun. I didn´t kayaked before, but it wasn´t a problem. We had some single and some double kayaks, that was... More

We were a party of five where three of us never kayaked before One went with the guide Kim and the other two (father and son) went into a double kayak. My friend and his son started off a little slow but picked it up right away. The water was so smooth all you needed to know how was how... More

We did a six day trip in the Johnstone straight. It was expensive, and so I was very disappointed when we learned there were not enough single kayaks (also, the seat in mine was cracked). There was no effort ahead of time to ask about or accommodate our kayaking experience. We also did surprisingly little kayaking. Some days as little... More

I have wanted to see Orca whales my whole life so this year I persuaded my boyfriend to come with me on this mad kayaking trip - the Robson Bight 6 day tour. We have both never been to Canada let alone kayaked or even camped, so were in anticipation of what the trip would be like. The trip was... More

This approximately 5-hour trip took us around an island, along natural shorelines and up close to amazing rock cliffs. We were lucky to have Kim, the owner, guide the two of us on a late March day. It can be chilly in March so I would recommend a waterproof coat and a fleece sweater underneath, some good gripping waterproof gloves... More

We had an amazing this summer on a four day trip in the Clayquot Sound. My wife, 10 year old daughter and I joined another family on a guided trip. In all categories: local knowledge, food, fun, safety, and skills our two guides (Lennie and Darrin) were top notch.

I found out my trip was being cancelled at 10pm the night before, left me no time to arrange an alternative. Staff were completely unapologetic. I arrived in Vancouver as part of my 6 month US & Canada trip and heard there was some great kayaking and wildlife spotting to be had on Vancouver island. So I searched around, found... More
