Spent a lovely 5 hours with this wine tour. Very friendly and know the area very well. It was like being in another country as i have never been in this part of BC before.A must see is Larch mills winery. The owner was very good to show us the whole process of the winery. Great time sipping various wines.

Oh how I love Salmon Arm BC. This is my all time favorite place in BC, I am planning to move to Salmon Arm for my retirement. I pray that's a long time before I'm actually retired but any time will do. From the lake to the town there is so much natural beauty surrounding you and the sense of... More

Shuswap Lake covers a large area with beaches in many places--some private, some public--such as near Salmon Arm and also in Sicamous. Both of those beaches are well maintained. Salmon Arm is larger, has more facilities (Nicer washrooms and change facilities, plus snack bar.) Sicamous is smaller--no change area in the washroom. Both have playgrounds and volleyball areas. Sicamous has... More

I'd never been to Shuswap Lake (Salmon Arm) before and this was a real treat. This arm of the lake is mainly a bird sanctuary and we were privileged to observe ospreys and their young in nests high up on poles. There are several nature trails with very good information along the way - even found a beaver dam near... More

Shuswap Lake is huge, gorgeous, wonderful, but it is not in Kelowna. Not sure how Trip Advisor came up with this, but it's ridiculous - there are several lovely communities on Shuswap Lake but Kelowna is not one of them.

We travelled through the Rockies from Calgary to Vancouver and drove by the lake and had to stop to enjoy the fantastic views. There seemed to be plenty of opportunities for swimming, fishing and boating-next time we will have to stay for a night or two.

Beautiful lake and we have lots of fun every time we go, but this year we bought a new boat. Took it out to the floating store and as they were docking it put a nice hole in our pontoon and won't even help pay for damages, so be aware and watch them dock your boat because they don't care.... More

Best beach by far right here in are back yard, why fly halfway around the world when we have this. We spent a very enjoyable day on the beach, taking time out to visit a quaint little Restraunt nearby, then back to the beach!

Spent three months at Sandy point which is just 10 kms west of the town of Salmon Arm. Sandy Point is know for its sandy beaches which you wont get elsewhere in Shuswap lake. For this access you will have to camp at Sandy Point Beach campground, which offer tenting and RV sites both at a nominal price. For all... More

We rented a boat at Red's Rentals and toured for about 6 hrs. It was +38. The scenery was beautiful! The water was refreshing! Just had to watch out for the logs.
