We just finished spending a fantastic week on the Shuswap with my parents, our children aged 17 and 23 and my Sister's family. We were 9 in all and found the Mirage 65 gave us plenty of room to eat together, socialize and just hang out. The staff at Waterway were very helpful and friendly and worked extra hard to... More

We got a copy of this guide from our campsite and the couple of rides we did were excellent. The Salmon Arm / Silver Creek ride was as described and very low traffic. The Notch Hill was interesting and a train was going through the tunnel and around behind us while we were on route. Highly recommended guide. There is... More

They don't call this the house Boat Capital for nothing, miles and miles of secluded shoreline to choose from, warm summer waters and thousands of places to park and hike into the wild.

This area seems to be the "go-to" spot for cottages and summer living. Lots of boats, water can be a bit murky depending on what part of the lake you are visiting. Love seeing the houseboats out on the lake...a great idea for the family or a group of friends. Water was cooler than the lakes in the southern interior... More

We have been here often over the years. Camping as well as staying at our friends cabin. The weather can be very unpredictable at times. Being beautiful one moment and a storm the next..

Shuswap Lake is a beautiful place to visit with your friends and family. There is more to do that only rent a house boat. You can visit national parks, you can rent a boat, jet ski, kayak or a paddle board. You can go and enjoy farmer markets, eat in beautiful restaurants, visit great wineries... just so much to do...... More

The Shuswap lake brings excitement to boating from the feeling of exploring and seeing what is around the next bay. I went in May and the lake was calm the entire week. At this time of year the water was low exposing lots of rock and many beaches along the shore. In the background the peaks of the mountains were... More

The Shuswap is a massive lake and the best way to see it is to do it by houseboat. This past summer we chose a boat from Waterways houseboat rentals and set off to explore the great lake for 4 days. This was quite frankly one of the best summer vacations I can remember, right back to when I was... More

Live right on the lake all year round (between SA and Sicamous)..... The scenery changes everyday and is absolutly gorgeous! Never get tired of it. The water is beautiful in the summer time - the kids love it!! Come visit the Shuswap!
