Scenic lake with several arms, over 600 km of shoreline (mostly undeveloped wilderness), popular with swimmers, boaters and houseboats. Reasonably pristine, but pollution in built-up areas is an issue currently being addressed (though slowly). More

Great Family destination! You can go boating on the Shuswap Lake, if you don't have a boat there is many places where you can rent one. There are a couple of restaurants with lake view, the Golf course is 2 minutes away, you can visit the farmers market every Saturday... and the people is friendly... :) More
