I don't like the charge for the self-guided tour and believe they should reimburse guests when making any purchase in the gift shop.

The place was a little bit hard to find but it was worth the search. They have a lavender version of pretty much anything you can think of including ice cream...which is great by the way! The gift shop was adorable and is willing to ship your gifts if need be. They also have an online store. We did the...

Dear JennaMarie360,
You are correct; it is difficult to locate places in rural Kelowna. You can print directions from our website that list landmarks or if you have a GPS you can find us at this location: N49 degrees 49.420' ; W119 degrees 26.890'.
Thanks so much for visiting, it is nice you had some time to linger and relax,...

I went with a 1.5 year old, 8 year old and 11 year old. The sun was HOT! bring sunscreen and hats in the summer or go in early seasons. - Children are all free, only parents pay. - Then you can choose to spend 2$ and do the scavenger hunt, definitely do it! The kids can play and explore...

Dear Steffanymonroe,
It is our great pleasure to host families and see them enjoy themselves at the farm. It is wonderful to hear the gleeful sounds of children as they roam the property discovering nature's treasures and solving the scavenger hunt. Sometimes in our high tech world we forget the simple pleasures found in nature. Thank you for your encouragement,...

I recently visited with relatives from Florida. I loved the feel and the smell of the farm. If you are looking for a fast paced glitzy entertainment experience, this is not for you. But if you appreciate nature and people who are true stewards of the land, come for a visit. It is very mediative, beautiful place which is good...

Dear Lynne Z,
Very nice to hear that you found the farm 'good for the soul' - that would be one of the things we strive for the most when visitors come, the opportunity and time to reflect and relax. We've even had outdoor yoga up here before...we will try to get a few dates organized for this season.
Sincerely,...

Breath taking view of the lake and very nice gift shop. I would not recommend the paid tour however because $5.50 is too much to basically walk through someone's backyard. A view of the garden can be appreciated from the outdoor cafe. Lavender flavored ice a very nice treat.

When we expanded our gardens to their current 3 acre size, one of our goals was to create a comfortable landscape visitors could meander which would integrate the functional plants we grow with xeriscape and herb gardens of various sizes to give our customers ideas for their own backyards. The looping pathways were designed by the landscape architects to reflect...

If you enjoy gardening or lavendar or just pretty things in general, this is worth a visit, if you are in the area (and there is LOTS to do in the area, so worth a day out there). I like both and I grow lavendar, so was happy to buy their personal book ($10) on things to do with lavendar...

Dear PumpkinPatch313,
Thank you for purchasing our Lavender Handbook, it grew out of questions posed by our customers over the years with tips and recipes we thought would be helpful to any lover of lavender. It is our hope to catch visitors, whose interest in herbs and xeriscapes is limited, by suggesting they visit our deck cafe to enjoy our...

My friend and I toured around the grounds, intrigued by the various types of lavender and accompanying plants and flowers. The views of the lake were amazing and we had a ton of fun taking pictures amongst the flowers and in the maze. Every time we would finish looking at one area, we would notice there was another garden behind...

We took our visitors from Denmark to visit the farm in July and had a fabulous time. We visited on a very busy day, when staff were out picking the lavender and getting it ready to use in their handmade products. Staff members were very friendly and knowledgeable when we asked them questions about the farm. After an informative tour...

Not worth it at all. Right at the entrance you are charged $5 to enter "the farm" -- a desert-like place with not much to do; you can walk through the place slowly in 5 minutes tops. Nothing else to add really, do not waste your time, rather go to the goat cheese farm in Kelowna...

Dear Yuriy123,
It is true that our gardens have been designed as a xeriscape landscape within a farm operation which also strives to grow drought tolerant herbs and perennials. The landscape architect designed the gardens to be informally linked by meandering pathways to provide visitors with places for reflection and vistas. The gardens require a full-time employee to keep them...
