This area is real new and fresh. Lots of resorts along the shore. From some angles, the newness and quality of the resorts, with the water and other features surrounding them, make you think you are in California or Florida (on a smaller scale but nevertheless a surprise).

Wow - we were expecting just a city waterfront but we found the rotary marsh and it was fabulous! You can see the fish from the walkway. Nice gardens too. Lovely walk :)

The Waterfront Park is such a beautiful place to wander around on a nice sunny day. Grab an ice cream cone from the shop near the corner and head to the water. It sounds lovely doesn't it? Unfortunately there often seems to be shady dealings going on in the park. Sometimes it is obvious what's going down, in plain view...in... More

probably our least favorite beach for little ones... nice stroll but not much to do with a 2 year old. Bathroom were very dirty and being pregnant, I had to visit them often :( only few parking spots close by, we had to walk a little while to get there. we probably will go back when the kids are teens... Beautiful location, all amenities. Sand is nice, water cool. Bring an umbrella. Can get quite crowded.

1. Setting, surroundings, beach and the lake to plunge into when one gets too hot. 2. Cleanliness - - - although you may see litter by people who think the world is their garbage can the park and beach are clean. Any litter you may see is the litter of that day. The parking is charged for. The access is... More

I always enjoy a leisure walk or rollerblading along the boardwalk, including taking the time to enjoy the view of Okanagan Lake. Great sandy beaches on both ends of the waterfront park. Stopping by at the pub nearby at the Grand Hotel is a plus. Check out the lagoon with fish, birds and plants are preserved for you to enjoy.... More
