What a lovely surprise. Lakes back home don't have beaches this long. The park was lovely, with lots of trees to provide much needed shade. We didn't go in the water, but the people there were heartedly enjoying themselves. We wished we had brought suits! There is even a piano in the park for anyone to play. Delightful

Awesome beach - and there is shopping and so many food options close by! Even bike rentals on the street and kayak rentals on the beach. Grand kids had a blast! Everything is in walking distance, so a car is optional unless you want to drive to the many vineyards - but there are tour groups for that, too!

How many decent sized cities have an awesome beach right by the marina, art gallery, performing arts, bandshell, and shopping close by? Kelowna is the best and Waterfront park is front and centre. you can spend a week there and never have to drive the car! My idea of a fun vacation.

So much to see - always something going on. Walked along here the other day and realized that if I have to love downtown, this is where I want to be. Beautiful views and no excuse not to get out and enjoy the area

The path along the waterfront was well paved and not too crowded. All of the people we came into contact with were very pleasant. The Rotary marsh just north of the Grand Okanagan Resort was quiet interesting and teeming with birds. This is a relatively dog friendly locale and all the animals were leashed and well behaved.

It is a great place for couples . The scenery is spectacular and gorgeous. We went for water bike sports and it's really cool to watch the city from the middle... You may also enjoy the gardens in front of the Delta Hotel

Other waterfront cities could take a lesson from Kelowna. Beautiful lake front walk and the wet land area at the end is amazing.

Kelowna has done their waterfront properly. It looks great and is a great place to stroll on a warm summer day. Looking forward to my next return.

Like any area, there are nice and rough areas of this park. It can be a fun spot for the summer months where there is free live music and things going on; street buskers, festivals, etc. However there are quite a number of homeless people unfortunately and this seems to be a main hang out. Drugs are also quite prevalent... More
