Let me crystalize how long it’s been since being in Kelowna: the last time I was here, Fred Flintstone punched me in the face. Early 80s, going back a ways. I also remember the Ogopogo statue that snaked out of the grass, and holy hell, it’s still there. I don’t recognize anything else. The lake is beautiful, the walk is... More

This is a great place to take a walk along the lake and check out everyone and everything in the area. There are buskers, tourists, locals, dogs, bikes... it's a busy area but very laid back and everyone is out enjoying the weather. The Cactus Club which just opened here is VERY busy as it overlooks the lake and Yacht... More

This is an exceptionally nice place. Lots of green space, great playground, best spray park I've seen. Bathrooms and change rooms nice and clean. Lots of perfect swimming spots with looong stretches of beach. Nice to walk all along the waters edge into downtown, and lots of parking. Must visit if in the area.

All the formal parks in BC seemed to be meticulously maintained, and well laid out. Not too sure which are the boundaries of the park - walked from the Delta to the Park, photographing the Bear sculpture, and several other beautiful, and some quirky, artworks. Very impressive sculptural streetlights too.

Waterfront Park is so beautiful. Relaxing just to sit and look out over the water. The board walk is well kept and clean. I was there during Canada Day and the park was filled with people, vendors, food trucks and bands playing. It was a fun time for all.

The park is great for all ages . There is a nice playground for the kids to climb around and have a good time . The beach has full exposure to the sun all day , but there are plenty of trees around if you need some shade . Ogopogo was always something special and magical to me as a... More

This is one of the best urban parks I have every been to. Right on the water - it is really a series of parks, some with beaches, some with well designed kids areas, some with marina access, some with grass and tables and trees. Easy to spend a day here. Food trucks, attractions, buskers. Water sport rentals of all... More
