Entirely agree with the 5star reviews above, and would add that when we were there, around 6pm, it was empty and offered many opportunities for keen garden photographers.

Get away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown and visit this little oasis in the heart of the city. Water trickling over the rocks into a pool filled with fish, beautiful flowers, scrubs and trees. Places to sit to enjoy the view and the sounds of birds chirping.

Very serene, peaceful and inviting! Did not realize that this little oasis existed in the middle of the city! Benches are placed around the garden so you can sit and read or enjoy a snack peacefully. Sounds of the flowing water and watching the Koi swim around is very peaceful!!

If you would like a quiet stop for a few moments to regroup during your downtown visit, this is the place to go. There are shaded places to sit and the walk along the pathways around the ponds is truly relaxing.

The most amazing Japanese garden I have seen in Canada. Immaculately cared for and nothing missing from this urban oasis in downtown Kelowna. I will return on my next visit to see a different season.

Kasugai Gardens is located adjacent to the Kelowna City Hall, on Water Street, in a key hub of downtown Kelowna. However, this secluded and walled venue feels nothing like being in the midst of an urban setting. Step within the boundaries of Kasugai and you are immediately transported into a peaceful and relaxing space. Walk a gentle meandering path around... More

This is a very small cute garden. I did not find much to do there, but worth the stop if you are walking by. It looks very Japanese and peaceful and inspiring. Excellent spot for meditation, and calm.
