Excellent park for families and kids. Large flat areas for bike riding. Wonderful trail and stairs to the waterfall above the under restoration dairy barns. Swimming was good and the boat launch was very active. Plenty of parking. Sites are well-maintained and if you can't get a beach site the water is never far away.

Good site, small beach, great place for family. Friendly staff, cool historical stuff within walking distance.

Zero complaints. This campsite is a gem, especially if you can score a beach site (8, 9, 10, 11 &12) Bathrooms are very well kept with hot showers to boot. So nice to have the waterfall trails close by. Tonne of stairs but great excersize. Lots of shady spots.

If you are going to do the westside drive to Vernon, then Its worth slipping down the hill into Fintry - the estate is a pleasant walking tour and is interesting but not overwhelming - I wouldn't suggest going out specific but again, it makes a nice diversion on the drive

Although we could only walk through the camp grounds as it was not open for camping yet, we will definitely come back to camp, lovely area to walk.

Fascinating story of an early gutsy aristocrat and how he settled in the Okanagan Valley. The heritage house is kept up very well by the Society and the entrance fee is not too high. One could certainly feel the presence of what once was. Unfortunately, the tour we took was at the end of the day and the very nice... More

We missed the tour of the house but did hike around the area. The waterfall was a climb but after a few stops to enjoy the view we made it. A little sad as it looked as if some of the out buildings surrounding the barn were in need of upkeep. We camped at Bear Creek campground and after seeing... More

We drove here from Vernon to the Country Fair which was very good and everyone was friendly. The estate , house and lawns looked very nice. We just went to the beach area to relax for a while and we were very disappointed as it was small and the grass area was very short on grass and covered in weeds,... More
