With four generations of agricultural heritage and more than a quarter century of experience, we have pursued perfection and produced some of the valley's best wines resulting in CedarCreek being twice recognized as "Canada's Winery of the Year".Mother nature has been kind to CedarCreek with breathtaking views and excellent growing slopes also making it a gorgeous wedding venue. One can enjoy wine tastings at our year round wine shop, explore the vineyard trail, join in on an educational winery tour, or savour lunch at our seasonal Vineyard Terrace Restaurant. « less

We did a tour of some Kelowna wineries when we visited in October 2013. We are glad we stopped at Cedar Creek Estate winery as the staff was welcoming and knowledgeable about the wines we tasted. We left with a bottle of their Cedar Creek 2009 Platinum Merlot which we found to be gorgeous when we opened it on a... More

Hello Codiak, Thank you for visiting us and for taking the time to share your experience. Fun fact: In 1992 at the Okanagan Fall Wine Festivals our Merlot was judged to be so much better than Gold that it was awarded the only Platinum medal to ever be awarded at a Wine Festival (to date). Since then our premium series... More

We enjoyed (for the first time) a wonderful bottle of Cedar Creek Proprieters White at the Black Rock restaurant in Ucluelet. We were on holiday from Australia and Unfortunately we were unable to visit the Winery ... Hopefully next trip. I wrote to Cedar Creek to see if there was an Australian agent (unfortunately no). Thank you Anahita for your... More

Dear Aimhigh1010, It is always delightful to hear from someone who tastes our wine at a restaurant and likes it so much that they want to take it home with them and when home is Australia, it makes us proud. So sorry we don't ship there but if you are visiting the Okanagan in the future, we would love to... More

Though Cedar Creek's wine is good, some of the staff isn't. Condescending and uninterested come to mind when being offered wine by two or three presenters. If you go, you can expect very nice wine but the attitudes of some of the staff will not match the taste of the wine. It spoils the experience.

Hello Dick S, Thank you for your compliments on CedarCreek wine. We are disappointed to hear your comments on our staff as it is just the opposite of what we strive for. The odd busy day, it does occur that a new staff member needs to taker over a tasting that is in progress, but we do our best to... More

Cedar Creek was the first stop we made in the Kelowna and area wineries. We lucked out to arrive just as a tour was taking place, the $8 fee is correct. Our tour guide (can't remember her name but a lovely woman from France) was very pleasant and informative. As previously mentioned children do receive a tasting of juice, and... More

Hello Sinnayanae, We are happy to read that our winery tours are greatly appreciated along with our ability to accommodate kids and make it interesting and fun for them too. Even though the wine tasting that tour members get is already complimentary and the $8 is the fee for the tour itself, I have brought your comments to the attention... More

We decided to take a tour of the production side of a winery. This included a wine tasting afterward. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and tolerant of our young grandchildren. (They tasted juice!) The only downside was the cost. It was $8/adult. There were four adultsas well as 4 small children in our party. I would suggest to the... More

Hello Dave, Thank you for choosing to tour CedarCreek Estate Winery. I am glad that you found the tour informational and that everyone, including the children in your group enjoyed it. The $8 charge is not discounted on wine purchase cause it is for the whole experience of the 30-45 minute tour and the separate tasting of 4 wines that... More

We showed up 30minutes after the last tour had started but they quickly caught us up with the rest of the group (tour was completely free as well as the tastings). They walked us through the vineyard, production and a tasting. It was great to learn the process of wine making and what to look for in a good wine.... More

Cedar Creek was the first stop on a full day wine tour July 23rd. Waited a while at the tasting room counter. There were only 2 other people there so it certainly wasn't busy. Like a previous reviewer we were just handed a list and told to pick four wines. No discussion on preference, no attempt at education, no passion... More

The one winery on my list not to be missed was cedar creek. Although we decided to tour other smaller wineries, this was not to be missed as I had discovered their wine at my local wine boutique. Hello Tracy, I am sorry to hear about your experience. Our tasting bar can be considered small given the size of our winery and the many visitors that come, thanks to our good wine. First time going to a winery and it was a great experience. We got some history of the estate as well as education on the grapes. Talk about good Okanagan wines, you will find them here. Small yet personal, the tasting room is friendly and inviting. Worth the extra effort to find.

Hello Vino4u, Thank you for your compliments on our wine.
