We visited here after after visiting Mission Hills Winery, and were totally underwhelmed by the whole wine tasting experience, Our "Sommelier" was totally uninterested in us, and we were in and out within 5 minutes. They should send him up to the better winery in the area to get a few lessons in customer service.

Quails Gate restaurant spoilt us with fine wine, food & hospitality. Possibly one of our best meals ever!! The wild salmon was first class & matched perfectly with the suggested local Chenin Blanc. We couldn't fault the service, view & value. A must visit experience when visiting Kelowna.

I joined friends for lunch at Quail's Gate Winery last week. Right off the bat, the waiter seemed less than excited about the menu or any dietary accommodations. The menu is quite limited. I am a vegetarian, but eat eggs and cheese. The only options was a mushroom tart with quail's egg on top. We started with the salad as... More

My wife and I tasted many wines and found every one to be very good to excellent. We have done much wine tasting in the Okanagan as we live here and most times we like some but not all. We also ate at their restaurant and found it to be exceptional. The view, the selection, service and the food. It... More

Loved the ambience and landscaping, very impressive! I personally really appreciated thier white wines. We enjoyed lunch in the restaurant, which had an outdoor dining area with a great view! Our meals were excellently prepared with quick service and the chef was very creative!! Loved our server "Katherine", she was so friendly and obliging!

If you're like me and enjoy Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, then hed on over to this fantastic winery. Both are very good. These two along with the entire line-up will not disappoint you. Oh, and if you've got a mind to stop in for a truly great lunch, I recommend reservations. Absolutely all menue items are very good.

The site is beautifully designed overlooking the lake. Immaculate grounds, rustic buildings, great wines superb food and excellent service. What more can you ask? We purchased a case of Chasselas Pinot Blanc Pinot Gris, Gewurtztraminer and Chardonnay. Our lunch in the Old Vines dining room was pricey ($$) but excellent. Impeccable service, wonderful ambiance, and outstanding food. Definitely worth a... More

We made a lunch reservation at Quals Gate to celebrate a birthday. When we arrived we were told that the kitchen was closing and we could only order from the bar menu which is essentially just wine flights and olives. The hostess of the restaurant was unapologetic despite the fact that we had just confirmed our reservation a half an... More

We had one of the most amazing dinners at The Old Vines Restaurant at Quail's Gate Winery. My husband took advantage of the winter special which offered 3 courses of our choice. We started with the crab cakes. I have had many that were grainy or a bit too tangy. These were crusty and flavorful without the common drawbacks of... More

I had expected a more enthusiastic reception for guests stopping by in the off season. While we enjoyed the free wine and the tour was mildly interesting we got the impression the tour guide wanted to be somewhere else. The tour through the facility was perfunctory. There were only two of us who showed up for the scheduled tour and... More
