This area is one of the MOST beautiful places in the world. It has it all. Mountains along with snow skiing or snow boarding, Lake, for swimming, boating, water skiing or any other water sports, Golfing approx. 8 months of the year and lots of fun and concerts in the part during the warm season

Okanagan Lake is the home of the famous Ogopogo. There are beautiful beaches all around, from huge public beaches to tiny beaches only locals know about. Use caution on this lake as the water can turn from glassy and tranquil one minute to rough and dangerous the next. Due to the depth of this lake it tends to stay cooler... More

Beautiful in every direction. Serene. Picturesque. Great for boating in the summer months. Dotted with family-friendly beaches. Great place to enjoy the summer.

Kelowna (in summer!) has plant of outdoor activities available, and water sports on Lake Okanagan are at the top of the list.

We very much enjoy boating on Okanagan Lake. As well as the usual water sports and activities: fishing, SUP, wake boarding, water skiing, etc., there are special events which can be viewed from the lake (aerial shows, fireworks, sail races, etc.)

We spent a little over an hour walking the trail around the lake enjoying the beautiful views. It would be a great area in warmer weather since the lakeside parks and pier looked very inviting.

We are so lucky to live here, and the lake is one of my favourite things about Kelowna. I spend much of my time off on, in and around the lake whenever I can!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in Kelowna. We drove around the city for a while and stumbled on this little park with beach access (when I say beach, I mean pebbles and rocks...no sand). It was aptly named Pebble Beach. The water, however, was so nice. It was a super hot day and the water was nice and... More

After a rather filling brunch we decided to walk through city park along the lake. I hadn't realized there is now an underpass to the Abbot Heritage area and I was impressed that the city has spent some time and effort in giving a bit of background on the area. I would like to see more opportunities to sit and... More

The whole of the area around OK lake is beautifl to visit no matter the season. You are sure to find whatever meets your accomodation needs in any of the towns along the lake
