Whether you are looking for beachfront activities with your family or peaceful meditation - the Okanagan lake is a glorious vacation destination. While you are enjoying water sports or the beautiful scenery of a lake nestled in the mountains - there is so much for you to see and experience. The Okanagan is Canada's Napa Valley.

Beautiful view. I've never seen so many Lakes, yet they all seem to have their own distinct beauty. A photographers paradise.

The Best place to be in Kelowna during the Summer is on or in Okanagan Lake! Beaches have beautiful sand for kids and sandcastles..... Lots of swimming and floating on the lake... Bring lunch or if your at one of the beaches with food trucks or snack shacks enjoy that too. If your fortunate enough to get on the water... More

Apart from the wineries in the area, if you have a boat, canoe or kayak, grab it and treat yourself to this natural sanctuary. You'll be greeted with birds, ducks and geese. Weekdays are the best so you can avoid the crowd. It's a great place to ponder about the natural wonder of this place. Once you're done, treat yourself... More

This is a huge, cold, deep, fantastic lake in the BC interior. In the summer, being at the beach seems like being in California. It gets crowded with swimmers, water skiiers, boaters, and the like. This is one of my favourite places to be.

A walk around the edge of the huge lake may take away all the stresses of the day and fills you with an inspiration to appreciate nature and things around you. Just sit somewhere facing the water and let yourself be carried away by the wind into soothing-land. Has a skating rink, volleyball playing facilities and slides for kids.

Large lake, lots of boats to rent as well as houseboats. Great hotels and eating places on the lake, as well as some with lake views. The lake has great boating, skiing and fishing. If your going to the okanagon, take the time and visit the lake.

One of the most pristine bodies of water in British Columbia and worth the time. It has a lot of history and is surrounded by the famous Okanogan wine country.
