Live here so I am a bit prejudice but if you see it you will fall in love with the beauty. Lots of boats in the summer, waterskiing and seadoos also. Busy but it is a big lake and there is a lot of places to lay on the sand to suntan. Can't get enough of it.

135 kilometers long with 270 kilimoeters of shoreline. You can spend a long time exploring this magnificent lake.
Great spots to dine (eg: Hooded Merganzer, Pentiction) that offer free slips for boats. You are much closer than any car in the parking lot.

The Heart of the Okanagan. Swim, fish, waterski, wakeboard, parasail, dinner cruise, admire - - -etc., etc., etc.!!! Spans from Vernon to Penticton with Kelowna in the middle. BEAUTIFUL!

There is all sorts of things you can do on Okanagan Lake whether in Vernon, Kelowna or Penticton. One of my favorite things to do in the summer time is to go swimming at any of Okanagan Lake's sandy beaches. Its also a lot of fun to rent a floating island on Gyro Beach in Kelowna or rent a bike...

There is so many activities you can take in when in the area of the Okanagan. The more time you travel and spend in the Okanagan the more places and activities you will find. Love the views. Nice walks along shore in Kelowna and west Kelowna. should have more policing of idiots on boats drinking and excessive speed. Have quit going on lake in high tourist season.

Okanagan Lake is a beautiful, deep lake. There are many wonderful beaches from one end to the other. It's lovely for swimming in during the summer. Though I would stay a night for fun as I knew the wife of the manager. The rooms are old and smell. The food is like eating a rubber chicken. It was not worth the drive.
