After a rather filling brunch we decided to walk through city park along the lake. I hadn't realized there is now an underpass to the Abbot Heritage area and I was impressed that the city has spent some time and effort in giving a bit of background on the area. I would like to see more opportunities to sit and... More

The whole of the area around OK lake is beautifl to visit no matter the season. You are sure to find whatever meets your accomodation needs in any of the towns along the lake

I love lakes, water in general actually which is one of the reasons I chose the career I'm in and this lake has so many amazing attractions and a lot of natural beauty going for it. You can rent a boat, drive from town to town, stopping and eating along the way. Spend the day wakesurfing, wakeboarding or tubing, tanning... More

We had never been to British Columbia and didn't know what to expect. The lake with the mountains in the background is beautiful. We would go there again. When everything is green it must be even more breathtaking.

Few years ago when I visited Lake Okanagan the lake water was clean and could see the bottom but this time I can only see my reflection off the blackish water. There is much to see in March I guess and the weather was chilly as well.

The Okanagan has so much to offer it's hard to all do in one week. From snow skiing to water skiing to wine trails and and golf tails. It the nicest place Canada has to offer.

I stand on my baloney and I see this lake every day. 365 days a yr it's beautiful. Not a fall/winter lake to play on, however summer it transforms into a holiday gateway to sun, fun, relaxation, and long summer days of tanning. 6 cities and towns grace it's shores, so being on the lake in a boat would be... The Okanagan lake is an amazing place to be during summer. There are several activities to do, like fishing, sailing and waterskiing. It's also a good option for a walk, since the view is beautiful.

In the spring and summer, this place is abuzz with all sorts of different events and activities from paddle boards, kids on water park, sea-dos, float planes, motor & paddle boats, swimmers, water skiers, houseboats, etc. In the fall and winter, there are fishing derbys, float planes, houseboats, etc. Truly a four season's playground.
