Nice lake with very clean water, surrounded by good views. We stopped at different locations and spent time. Definitely visit and spend time.

The kids played non-stop for 4 hours; the adults relaxed in an area that provided shade or sun and took lovely walks along the lake front.

Wow! cannot describe its beauty. The Lake is huge with sailing, parasailing and is surrounded by mountains. The area is dry so ideal for fruits and grapes and the wines are good. The Mission vineyard was beautiful and overlooking lake Lake Okanagan. A must place to see, No rain to spoil your day

i was surprised that this lake was an excellent place to stop and smell the roses. It was easy to find a parking spot for an recreational vehicle. The water was nice and the amenities were very close to the beach.

The lake is very large and all possible beach areas are used for swimming and launching boats. Check out the canal! In summer the canal is loaded with people floating on inner tubes down the canal (several miles long). It is a sea of of bodies. When they reach the end, they catch a bus back.

The whole stretch of this lake is a joy to behold. I've had the joy to visit this area many times in my life and will never tire of it. From the beaches to the vineyards it is all you could ask for. Hope to see it again soon.

I love Lake Okanagan - one of the most beautiful freshwater lakes in Canada. There are so many lovely beaches to visit - Kelowna provides access to the lake at a number of locations - something for everyone. Try Gyro beach for a lovely place to swim and a fin afternoon of people watching.

When visiting Kelowna we always rent a boat and go boating on the lake. This is lots of fun, especially on a hot summer's day, the breeze is refreshing and it is fun to see what others are doing on the lake. Always a highlight while in Kelowna

For such a large lake it is remarkably warm, but it is also deep which can make some areas choppy. But in all honesty, if you are a beach lover or enjoy water sports or fishing and you can't find a piece of paradise along the 134km length of this lake, well let's just say it's impossible.
