We spent one day touring the wineries around Kelowna, the westbank and up in the hills of Kelowna. Very scenic, visited 7 good wineries. Easy driveing in this compact city. Walked along the waterfront and the downtown as well. A must visit to see the grounds are Mission Hill winery and lunch at Quail Ridge Winery but get to the... More

Lots of photos, especially at sunset and sunrise, bit cool to swim for any period of time, but tipped our toes in. Southern part of Valley has bit warmer water apparently,

Drive from Kelowna to Penticton is very pretty. Lots of views of the lake. The beach in Penticton is very nice for a stroll along the lake front. The sidewalks are wide and there is room for walking and bicyling.

The water is clean and great for swimming. Currently, in mid July, the water temperature is up to 22 degrees celsius and there are many beaches up... More

It is fun to visit with children. It is close to downtown, so it is also nice to go for a stroll after a visit to the lake. However, the lake is not a quiet place to be with speedboats and jet skis.

This was our first time to Kelowna and Lake Okanagan. The views and the landscape alone are spectacular. This should be on everyone's "bucket list"!
