Some of the art was good but the majority was not in our opinion. Good that admission was by donation. We donated the value we viewed.

Been here a few times. Keep waiting to see more from this place. If you have kids its a great place because you can bring them here on the weekend to do some painting but exhibit wise they are lacking. If you are visiting Kelowna and you live in a big city you may be disappointed.

It is not very big. It was fine since we did not pay to get in. The outside of the building was interesting.

Thursdays are free admission which is really nice! It's a small gallery, and so you can likely be in an out within an hour. Something I really liked was the posting area, where people can take a black card and with white pencil write or draw something about art. I enjoy these sorts of things, and I think it's a... More

The Kelowna Art gallery is a great place to visit! Always great exhibits displayed. :) I saw the famous group of 7 and it contained a lot of Canadian talent.

We went to the Group of Seven Exhibition on loan from Hart House. It was a hot day and the cool of the gallery was a welcome respite from the heat and the hustle and bustle of that area of town. The exhibit was exquisite and there were some other artists such as Emily Carr represented as well. The small... More

If you have not been recently to the Kelowna art gallery and will / can be in Kelowna before July 19, I would recommend to you a visit to see a really unique Canadian art exhibition by the group of seven and other famous Canadian painters e.g. Tom Thomson, Emily Carr and David Milne. The Kelowna art gallery selected for... More

Kelowna’s down town area is relatively small but has, in addition to the spectacular lake side promenade, a number of interesting places to enjoy. It is easy to see most of them in an afternoon. The other day, I decided to do one more walking tour of the cultural district before it gets too cold. I usually start walking down... More
