Beach was clean, lifeguards daily from 1-4pm. Concession stand has regular junk food. Rose park and friendship garden was not kept up but was still nice to view. Tennis course available. Washrooms and change rooms available. Kids splash pad water park was well maintained. Nice place for a picnic and to read.

We stopped in Kamloops in both directions to/from the Rockies. Perfect opportunity for the kids to stretch out and have some fun in the awesome water park. Adjacent to beautiful river. Highly recommend.

Lots happening, the park was full of happy holidayers. We were there to see our grand-daughters exhibit in the Heritage Fair, but also had some time to walk around. I was disappointed that too many activities came at a price (with 3 grandkids, it gets expensive), being more used to our local celebration where almost everything is free. The kids... More

When there attending a wedding with my family, I was amazed at how clean the park was and the water park for the kids. They was shade everywhere which is great in the hot summer months. The bathrooms could use more attending but otherwise, at great, large park for the kids to roam and be free.

Family park with a small water park for children and a beach to go swimming if you dare the cold water. It's a nice, quiet park when there is nothing else to do

The park area along the river is really well maintained. We walked here this morning and the mountain and river views are spectacular. We also saw the Rocky Mountaineer pull out of the station and we purchased local strawberries at the nearby Farmer's Market in the downtown area which is there on Wednesdays. I recommend a walk across the Red... More

Lovely walk along the river. Lots of activities for families. The high school grad was on and it was wonderful to see all the youth dressed up. Lots of picture taking on the part of parents. Everyone in the park was extra friendly.

Park was nice, walked there from our hotel. When you come into Kamaloops from the train you enter right around side of park. The Kamaloops mounties (actually retired) met the train at entrance to the park/town. They rode around park for a few hours and greeted people, took pictures, etc. it was great. They were incredibly nice, was amazing. You... More
