Great Run

Often run on this trail. Great walk as well. Goes thru Riverside Park . Very scenic as it runs along the river.

Kamloops river trail is a great place to ride, walk, or jog. It starts in Valleyview and can go as far as Kamloops lake, my wife and I ride it often, sometimes putting on 50 klm return. The City has done a good job on this project and one of the reason we live here. There are washrooms, beaches, and... More

It's very easy to walk 6 km and not know it! Awesome conditions for a stroll with a great surface to walk on and wonderful scenery. A very extensive trail system covering much of North Kamloops and downtown. I walk it every time I get out to Kamloops from Elk Point, AB. Easy to meet people on the trail.

Great being by the River, I like it when the water is a bit lower so you can run on the sandy beaches behind the airport. Watch the planes coming and going and just relaxing with family and good friends

Kamloops is a town set in the most beautiful surrounds. The walks and river trails are a great way to enjoy the outdoors. You could sit for hours watching the ridiculously long logging trains go by or immerse yourself in the wonder of the flora and fauna in the more dense forest areas. I hope the locals here realise how... More

I covered each km and more. I loved it. I biked several days of my four day stay. Weather was great.. Maybe a bit too hot. I saw lists of wildlife and wonderful flora and fauna. I would say the people of Kamloops are pretty fortunate to have these trails in their city.

A well maintained trail featuring scenic and rustic beauty. The trail meanders along the North and South Thompson Rivers in Kamloops, BC. Great variety of interesting bird life, adorable marmots and watch for bears across the river in fall! Good exercise and suitable for walking, running, biking, roller blading. Even the senior folk use their walkers for fresh air and little... More

This beautiful river trail is paved, so perfect for strollers and wheelchairs. It meanders along the river, through Riverside Park and out towards the Heritage Train Station. You pass areas that are open to the riveer and others that have trees on the riverbank, so a nice variety.. Ideal for kids learning to ride a bike as there are no... More

Spring is here. Lots to see on the river's trail. I look for positive nature experiences. My husband & I have two new art pieces we have seen this year. So nice to see instead of destruction. See if you can find them.Lots of animals waking up too.

It's an awesome walk with beautiful scenery with a ton to see. I just wish the people with their dogs would pick up after them as the amount of poop that is laying around is a bit extreme. I would have enjoyed the trail more if I wasn't constantly looking out for little road apples and should have been looking... More
