Even on a bad snow-day it is a fun place to ski. The staff is friendly. It's not as $$ as other ski resorts, but still more than Kamloops. Worth the visit. Worth the drive. Loads of runs for every level of ability and snow consistency is better than other regions in Western Canada.

I went here with my sons who snowboard and was really looking forward to hitting the back country on my snow shoes. Sun Peaks seems to treat people who snow shoe as criminals and are banned from everywhere but all but two lame trails. I went to the main ticked booth with my back pack on which I had my... More

We live in BC, and we like to ski ... but we are not rich. Just your average person. Whistler, even Smithers ... we found to be quite pricey. Sun Peaks, for several years now, has proven the most family budget friendly ski-resort within only four hours from our home (Prince George area). The hotels have wonderful family rooms with... Just finished our final ski weekend of the year. We were treated to fantastic spring conditions with a pile of fresh powder. We love Sun Peaks!

There is a genuine welcome for everyone at Sun Peaks, We attended a concert, booked a room and had meals pre season and really enjoyed our stay. There are always lots of things going on, and plenty of ways to enjoy this spectacular resort, even if you are not a skier. We took a walk, picked up goodies at the... More

Not a great year to try a new place but we did. We usually go to Whistler, but wanted to check out this place. With more snow think it would be great but trying to figure out the runs with so little snow was difficult. We didn't stay on the mountain so not sure about the lodges, wasn't very impressed... But looks like it would be a great mountain with good coverage and even some powder. Complimentary tours are a great thing to take advantage of, very friendly and informative hosts.

This has been a bad snow year in Western .Canada., Sun Peaks included. But their excellent grooming has made it possible for all four of us, of varying ability, to have a really pleasant ski holiday.

It was like skiing in Europe with mega slopes you ski anywhere you liked. Trail layer out so that low level skiers and expert skiers could me to ski together all day long.

Sun Peaks is truly the best ski resort I've ever been to! Line ups are short, which always surprises me. Beautiful views, exceptional amounts of runs from green to black. Get lunch spots too!
