It's ski fields are plentiful, the people in the town are lovely and it's in such close proximity to Kamloops that you can stay in reasonably-priced accommodation and drive the short distance into Sun Peaks to ski for the day! It's nice for a visit on foot, also!

Everything up there is expensive. Even the lift tickets. The hill really is beautiful though. We had fun, our bank account however did not.

Less people than Whistler, better snow than Whistler - what's not to love. Sun Peaks usually has great weather, no ice, short lines, and enough runs and lifts to keep one occupied. One of my favourite ski hills!

I come to Sun Peaks every year now, it is so dependable. I have skied at 7 resorts in the last two weeks from one end of BC to the other, Sun Peaks stands alone!

I was in Sun Peaks for a fall event, before ski season. The accommodations on hill are clean and close to the central village area. Parking is easy and the resort has lots for a family or couple to do.

It was my first time to Sun Peaks, and how amazed I was! This is a small colored village full of condos and resorts, a place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. You do not need to ski or snow to go up there. You can just take a walk with your dog, play in the snow with your kids,... More

we stayed at the Nancy Green Lodge. Front desk staff was very good! The place is dated, could use some updating but the beds were comfy! We went on a Ski do tour, very fun and very long! Absolutely beautiful! My family skied and loved the mountain, lots of long runs, very few line ups! Steakhouse was awesome! Powderhounds not... More

My wife and I decided ti take a drive the other grey day ti Sun Peaks for lunch and a walk. We went to Masa's bar & Grill in the Day Lodge.. We had their soup of the day and Lamb wrap (shared). The service and the lunch was excellent- so good I had to tell the very young chief... More

I had the pleasure of visiting this place back in 2009 winter. Awesome times. Not too far from Kamloops. A little city within a city. The night life is epic, people are friendly and have some decent restaurants there. Overall it is beautiful place with amazing slopes. As a beginner , everyone was patient and willing to give some advice.
