We stopped in Lac Le Jeune on our way back to Langley. We wanted to have a walk between rain storms and it was a clear sky over that area. The lake is great for fishing. You catch small trout from standing on the shoreline and 2 -3 pound ones from a boat. There is lots of camping in the... More

Great place to hike/explore/fish/camp/ski. It has it all. My favourite part of any visit to Lac le Jeune is hearing the loons on the lake. It is great!

Used to spend time here many years ago...lot of cottages there now but still a nice and fun place to go. Bring a picnic lunch or plan a BBQ .only problem the.bathrooms are very smelly and need cleaning.

What I really like about Lac le Jeune is that it's only 20 minutes down the highway from South Kamloops, and easy to get to. Plus, it's usually a few degrees cooler because of the altitude, which is great when it's 35-40 degrees in Kamloops, but also means could be a bit cool if it's only mid-20's in Kamloops. I... More

Liked the high country allowed us out of heat in kamloops during summer. Good swimming and camping - nice light boat launch . Restrictions on dogs near lake in campground needless but can just go out and they can play and swim- used to be allowed in past.

We just stopped there to stretch our legs, my son had a swim, the water was refreshing, the beach is sandy pebbles, he told me there were no algae in the deeper water. The beach is short but there is a nice grassy area with picnic tables and trees. I think the beach may be part of the camping ground,... More

We camped here for a week late June/early July. Really like this place. Park staff are friendly, campers are neighbouly and the whole place is kept clean. They had kids activities on the weekends and holiday and I got to spend the day fishing on the beautiful lake. If I had to give it a knock it would be that... More

I liked the Provincial park camp-site and the public beach area. Unfortunately, this area has suffered a set-back with an infestation of Pine Beetles in the past and had to cut down most of the trees. They did a replanting program a couple of years ago and it's surprising how much the new trees have grown. They have a few... More
