Our friends had taken my wife and myself to the Harrison Hot Springs area to be introduced to sport fishing. Our friends were experienced fishers but we knew nothing. Our guide, Mike Neufeld, was great. He clearly and patiently explained what we had to do and how. We started in the Harrison River looking for sturgeon. Within the first half... More

My friend and I went out for a fishing trip with BC Sport Fishing Group while I was in Harrison Hot Springs. It was definitely an incredible experience with our guide Yves. Neither my friend and I are experienced fishers but by the end of the day we had both caught a sturgeon each. My friend caught a 20+ year... More

I have been fishing for Sturgeon since 2008 and am absolutely hooked on these fish. I own and operate my own guided fishing service in Alberta and started taking out groups to BC in 2009 and we have always had a pretty good time with the supplier I was using then. This year I switched all my trips over to... More

I visited the area last week to photograph the eagles and signed up for their Bald Eagle viewing tour. Our friendly and informative boat guide was Tony; a local who knows the area well. I have some pretty long camera lenses that I can use to photograph from the shore but the boat ride was excellent to get in closer... More

So says my son...about both these guys and the other company we went with later in the trip. We lucked out this week and had two of the best guides ever and one of them worked for BC Sports Fishing. Yves Brisson was knowledgeable, passionate and man does he know where the fish are. We've fished this river for both... More

We booked a Harrison River scenic trip and were lucky enough to have Tony as our guide. Tony collected my husband and I and our friends at the jetty opposite our hotel. We then spent 2 hours cruising the river. Tony was so informative and was only too happy to manoeuvre the boat so that we could get the best... More

Myself and 3 of my buddies have gone sturgeon fishing the past 2 years with Yves Bisson from the BC sportfishing group in the Fraser and the Harrison river and both times we had amazing trips and caught tons of sturgeon.I highly recommend this trp to anyone who loves to fish.

Having booked a SALMON fishing day on the Fraser river, i was very disappointed when i turned up on my guided day out to find myself, as a fairly experienced fly fisherman, casting into the wrong river. Between the office and the guide, there was a mix up. I had specified, more than once, to the office staff that i... More
