Our family ranging from 75 yrs to 6 yrs had the most incredible day off the coast of Vancouver Island, watching orca whales, sea lions, bay otters, bald eagles, kingfishers, etc. Our guide, Simon, was extremely friendly and most knowledgable. The size of Simon's boat was perfect for watching the animals and enjoying a oneness with the sea. I heartily... More

A well organised trip. Even though we were technically 'out of season' Simon still managed to find a pod of Orca whales for us to watch. Simon was full of useful information and made the trip such fun. Make sure you are well wrapped up and take hats and gloves. You are given a big survival suit, but still need... More

I cannot say enough about Ocean EcoVentures! They offer such an amazing adventure, very personal and friendly. Simon went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great tour. The first time we went out we saw dall dolphins, sea lions and seals. Simon tried EXTREMELY hard to find whales but none in area at time. So, he took... More

Today Simon took us on an Amazing Adventure. We saw 3 different pods of Killer Whales plus dolphin, sea lions and perfectly navigating the clouds so we had a sun shiny day as it rained everywhere else:). I would say this has by far been the BEST whale watching tour I have ever been on. I was with my Dad... More

This is a small operation with a passion and respect for ocean life. Very organized and friendly. We saw an amazing amount of whales - a couple of different types, dolphins, and other sea creatures. Our captain was very profession and personable. He is very knowledgeable of the background of each whale personally and shared each ones unique story as... More

I went on an Ocean EcoVenture with some friends in October. This is my sixth such expedition and this one was the best. Besides we saw a lot of wildlife, our guide was knowledgable and respectful of these majestic animals. His passion for what he did shone through.

Awesome. Didn't even care it was cold. Saw many pods and little ones. My daughter and I went after she played in Softball tournament.

My fiancee and I decided to go whale watching on new years eve. After a little research on the internet we were disappointed. The season for watching orcas is already over. All companys shut down. We tried anyways. So I called Ocean ecoventures. The guy I was talking to (Simon) offered a trip on new years eve. So we drove... More

We joined a whale watching tour in September with Captain Lance, and it was the best experience ever. We saw lots of Orchas and stayed on the water the entire day! I can recommend Ocean EcoVentures anytime!
