We travelled the Cariboo Gold Rush Trail through the Fraser Canyon on our way to Barkerville. We made a detour of approximately 800km to visit Barkerville, and were not disappointed. The period buidlings are extremely well restored, and the costumed actors are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The free guided tours of the town are also excellent.
