This was a very interesting place and the people there were very friendly and knowledgeable. Plenty of paths for hiking: some challenging and some paved pathways for easy walking.

My husband and I happened upon the Nature Center completely accidentally when we went to check out the High Level Bridge with our kids. The building is new looking and the staff was super friendly and informative. They engaged our girls immediately and got them excited to check out the butterfly exhibit. We made our way up to the living... More

My boyfriend and I walked the path from highway three not expecting to find this place. Was a nice surprise. Informative place with fantastic views and setting upstairs.

Spent a beautiful afternoon taking in some self guided walks along the many kilometers of trails. The Helen Schuler Nature Centre was a major highlight. They have permanent and traveling exhibits to enjoy while visiting the centre. Sofie the snake was a hit. They have a "living Roof" which was very interesting to learn about. While on the rof you... Self guided trails through a beautiful area only minutes from downtown. Great view of the High Level Bridge. Interactive exhibits make it a great place for children. Admission is by donation
