Took my sister there, who visited from Holland and apologized before we went that it wouldn't be much....well, was I wrong! I didn't just learn a lot, it was highly entertaining....creating a newspaper page with our picture and actually getting a print out. 'Flying' in a small plane and having the view right in front of you. Wonderfully set up... More

The last time I visited the Galt Museum was many years ago when the entire thing was housed in the old hospital portion. I was interested to see how things had changed since the opening. The new space is larger and much more open. The exhibits are interesting and certainly very professionally presented. The museum is small and doesn't take... More

If your looking for a informative and interactive outing, choose the Galt Museum & Archives for a trip to the early days of Lethbridge's beginnings. From your greeting by an actual Buffalo; to a replica of a newspaper press that will print your own news story, artifacts from the various people groups that settled in Lethbridge, to the huge boot,... Always enjoy local museums...loved this one! Lots of focus on story-telling and artifacts of everyday life - great! Particularly enjoyed the current exhibit about new arrivals to the area - thank you for telling your stories!

I had a great experience. When i travel i always enjoy going to a museum. I shoud try the local one. The Gault gave me a glimpse of what people were doing, feeling and the effect it had on them. Lots of interactive displays. I found talking to the staff really added to the experience. They were excited to talk... More

Great place to visit, lots of interesting displays to look at and videos to listen to. You can move at your own pace, two display areas were down when we were then, but we did learn a lot about the history of the area, very interesting.

I don't know where else to put this review. It's hosted by the museum so it goes here I guess. A group of us girls went on a graveyard tour hosted through the museum. We went to the St.Patricks cemetery on a Friday if hr. The tour itself was only 50 minutes. We did learn some things I've never heard... More

We found the Galt museum tour to be excellent, with many very interesting exhibits. It really shows a lot about what life was like in Lethbridge's past. I recommend this museum to anyone.
