For a town with fewer than 90,000 inhabitants, the Galt is a worthy institution. The permanent collection provides a good introduction to southern Alberta. The temporary exhibitions vary in size and scope, but all are worth a visit. More

The Galt Museum does an excellent job. We have been several times and have always come away feeling like it was worth the trip. They do some great evening sessions. Be sure to check out the view while you are there. More
