Was there for a private event, and it was amazing. The area has great views of the valley, and made for a fun private event. Lots of pictures, as well as there was no worry about filling the room as the size was perfect for 100 guests. Would highly recomend holding a function here

Always lots of interesting displays. Nice staff. A variety of exhibit subjects about local history. Beautiful building. They always have great speakers and various functions in the big hall with a great view of the valley. They have great fund raisers too. The gift shop has something for everyone. Their archives are fantastic.

Excellent. Took my 7 year old grandaughter there and we both enjoyed the particular exhibition at the time.

A lovely little museum, chalk full of Lethbridge history. And what a view! The museum is good for people of all ages, and while full of interest, won't suck up your whole day. I have a short attention-span and found some of the vignettes a little long but nevertheless interesting. My only complaint: please, please, please, open a restaurant to... More

This was a very reasonably priced place to visit. Beautiful location and building. The exhibit is fairly small, but well done. The kids were given a scavenger hunt to do and enjoyed it. Great well stocked gift shop.

I was surprised by the amount of exhibits at the Galt. The place was very enjoyable and I learned a lot about the Lethbridge area. It's a must see if in Lethbridge.

the Museum put on a special show for visitors to Lethbridge at the Canadian Quilters' Association national quilt show. The presentation was on textile conservation. Considering the audience the talk was at the appropriate level of detail, which was quite technical. The presenter also talked and illustrated efforts to recover textiles damaged in the High River flood. The current exhibit... More

I just attended the Galt Museum and loved it. I had visited before for a wedding and reception which is an excellent destination because the large windows look out to a scenic coulee and sunset. The museum aspect itself could probably use a larger budget. You'll see old military and RCMP uniforms along with Pilsner beer history and a lot... More

It was quite a shock to revisit my place of birth and learn that it's now a museum. But it's in a beautiful location, overlooking the river valley. The building is a combination of old and new with a gift shop, gallery, and eating area with large windows overlooking the vista. My four sisters and I were feeling very nostalgic... More
