I was fortunate to have beautiful weather and snow covered mountains for this cruise. The scenery was breathtaking! I wasn't completely happy with the cruise itself. It was packed with people and photos on the way to Spirit Island were difficult. My window would not open and thus the photos had a lot of glare. I noticed some other windows... More

The drive to Maligne Lake is breath taking to say the least. The mountains are so picturesque!! The mountain tops were covered with a light dusting of snow and this gave them a 3D effect!!!Be sure to stop at Medicine Lake, it is quite pretty there as well and interesting to read about the history of the lake. Before taking... More

It's a pretty lake, and its a 1 1/2 boat cruise - whilst the commentary by our guide was interesting I believe it is overpriced at $62. And to top it off the so called Spirit 'Island' is not on an island at all but a peninsula - call it what it is - spirit peninsula!

I enjoyed going for a boat ride. The scenery was beautiful and the fun crew did a nice job of narrating! Like everything else in the area I thought 62 dollars was a little expensive.

It is a bit expensive but seeing Spirit Island made it worth. Met nice people on trip and staff were friendly and knowledgeable but unlucky for us a rather a dull day for our trip. Saw a moose on way to venue. Restaurant queue was massive after tour so we did not eat there.

Maybe a bit expensive, but worth the effort to get there. Amazing landscape, only to see the Spirit Island it makes sense to go. The staff at the boat were really kind.

We had been up to this lake several times but balked at taking the cruise due to the cost but considering their likely high capital and operational expenses and the short season, the prices are probably not that out of line. Our captain was excellent, always slowing the craft for the smaller canoes and kayaks. Our host was knowledgeable and... More

I was sceptical: cost, tourist trap etc., etc., but we were lucky to be on the last boat of the day in perfect conditions and we were outside for most of the cruise, and the views were to die for, we even saw a bald eagle which overtook the boat! If we had been inside in bad weather it would... More

This tight Scotsman drove up with the family and with a tear in my eye, paid the requisite fare for 4 of us to join the wee cruise with Kirstie and Daniel as our crew. The star of the show is the lake and the mountains. Please do not go up to the lake without going on this excursion -... More

Our tour down the lake to Spirit Island was breath taking. Unfortunately you only get 10 minutes at the island it self, which is not enough time for the price ($64) but i guess it is the quickest way to get there. The tour guide Kat was enjoyable and friendly, I just found it a bit unprofessional that they asked... More
