Walking up Wilcox Pass to view the Columbia Ice Field was spectacular. The scenery from the roads on the drive from Jasper was phenomenal. Paula's knowledge of the area was really informative and up to date. The day we had originally booked to go was very wet and so Paula offered to swop to the following day due to a... More

Had a great hike with Paula around Mt Edith Cavell. Paula was a very knowledgeable and informative guide. I was a little sceptical about whether paying for a guide for a not-particularly-challenging hike that anyone could easily do without a guide would really be worth it. In fact, Paula's local insight and knowledge of plants, wildlife and the local ecology... More

We had such an enjoyable experience walking with Paula to the Mt Edith Cavell meadows. Good pace, good knowledge, good fun. Paula took four of us on the 8km hike, pointing out lots of interesting flora and fauna along the way. Had a lovely picnic at the summit before making our descent. Thoroughly recommended.

We love to walk, but had a fear of bears, so contacted Paula at Walks and Talks. What a fantastic day we had. She takes small groups on special walks around Jasper. Her knowledge of the flora and fauna is amazing and she is such an enthusiast. She will tailor the walk to your ability, but you would have to... More

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 5 Bridges Maligne Canyon excursion. Paula was very informative. She pointed out things about flora and fauna that we had never seen or never took the time to understand. Like the difference between fir, pine and spruce needles. Showed us a Squirrel Midden and explained it. This along with the beautiful scenery made... More

We joined Paula and a young Spanish couple for a guided walk of the Maligne Canyon on May 18. We had a wonderful day and learnt much about the wildlife and terrain from Paula who is very knowledgeable and made the day very interesting and informative. We saw things that we would have missed if we had been on our... More

We booked and confirmed a crosscounty skiing trip a week before coming to Jasper, only to have her cancel the day before, hours before we were set to leave. She said she needed to work at the ski shop instead. When we asked for a recommendation for another company she offered to to take us another day but we were... More

Paula picks you up from your accommodation and takes you through interesting areas - sightings of elk! Looked and walked at lakes then walked the Maligne Canyon from Bridge 4 through 3, 2 and 1 and back to Paula's vehicle. The walk (in snow) was not comfortable for Australians not used to snow! Paula supplied cleats to fit our walking... More

We were in Jasper as part of a self-guided bus tour. We ended up having 2 days in Jasper with nothing to do. We did not realize we had to pre-book any of the AAA tours ahead of time. We were walking around town and saw sign for Walks and Talks and went into the store to inquire. We were... More
