We booked and confirmed a crosscounty skiing trip a week before coming to Jasper, only to have her cancel the day before, hours before we were set to leave. She said she needed to work at the ski shop instead. When we asked for a recommendation for another company she offered to to take us another day but we were... More

Paula picks you up from your accommodation and takes you through interesting areas - sightings of elk! Looked and walked at lakes then walked the Maligne Canyon from Bridge 4 through 3, 2 and 1 and back to Paula's vehicle. The walk (in snow) was not comfortable for Australians not used to snow! Paula supplied cleats to fit our walking... More

We were in Jasper as part of a self-guided bus tour. We ended up having 2 days in Jasper with nothing to do. We did not realize we had to pre-book any of the AAA tours ahead of time. We were walking around town and saw sign for Walks and Talks and went into the store to inquire. We were... More

Paula came to the rescue when we we're let down by a Banff hiking company and we had to amend our itinerary. Our planned trip to Mt Edith Cavell meadow had to change when Parks Canada closed the access following a glacier incident. We instead hiked around Maligne Canyon which was a real contrast to our other 2 hikes this... More

My sister in law and I Went on an afternoon hike with Paula in early June. We were picked up at our hotel. Included in the price. Paula has lived in the area most of her life which gives her the best perspective of the area. Patiently answered all of our many questions. Hiked at our pace. We went on... More

We went on a hike to Maligne Canyon with Paula this week. It was a great experience and much better than being stuck on a tour bus looking at the sights. Paula is very knowledgeable about the area and was previously a guide with Parks Canada. The walk was great and there are plenty of opportunities en route to take... More

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely few hours cross country ski trail with Paula, it was slow paced and relaxed, which was great for me as a beginner, we would definitely like to do a summer hike with Paula in the future.

Paula is a wonderful local guide with a wealth of experience to give about Jasper National Park. She took us to the Athabasca River and Falls while providing us with great insight and knowledge of the local area and its flora and fauna. The vehicle was really comfortable and we took the tour at a steady pace with photo stops... More

The walk and talk with Paula was fantastic. She took us to the Maligne Valley and it was like going on a trip with an extremely knowledgeable friend. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking and the information she gave us about the flora, fauna and history of the area was great. The vehicle was really comfortable and the equipment she provided... We did the Maligne Valley walk with Paula and it was great. Barely 5 minutes into the drive she spotted a black bear feeding in the bushes. Then we spotted deer, a moose and it's baby, elk, squirrels etc. Her knowledge was endless and interesting. Paula made the trip very enjoyable for us. We travelled in mid October and therefore...
