We chose to do the Maligne Canyon Ice Walk in the evening (6pm). We were the only 2 being taken out and had a very personal tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and highly qualified. He judged our fitness level and interests accurately and adjusted our route accordingly. Seeing the frozen canyon at night was fantastic and we saw fresh... More

We booked this at the recommendation of the concierges at the Jasper Park Lodge and are so glad we did! Nine of us were in Jasper for a team retreat and every one of us RAVED about this. While the walk is beautiful, what makes this tour so much fun was our guide Jasper John. Jasper John's knowledge of the... More

I though this was a gregreat little hike it was very slippery because of the weather but that's not exactly controllable. Our guide knew the information and was very jovial and truly seemed to enjoy her job. As for the hike itself I am glad we went on it...it is something you can do without a guide but you don't... Wow, what a great experience. Our guide was very friendly, knowledge, and fun. The day was beautiful which always helps make the adventure more fun. I learned a lot, saw the canyon from a different angle, enjoyed watching the ice climbers, and truly had a nice day. Thank you. This trip is well worth the money'

We had a great time on this ICE walk tour. Tim our guide was fantastic and very knowledgable about the area and every question our group asked. It is definetly a must do tour if you are in Jasper.

Without a doubt Maligne does it right and without question does it the best. Fun and friendly staff are very eager to give advice on local spots and lookouts and on top of that they are the only company who has a white water rafting permit for the mighty Fraser River. Go in late august/ early September to see the... More

The tour was a blast! You don't have to walk the trail with a guide, but I'm so glad we did! They showed us caves, fossils, and gave us tons of information along the way that we would have overlooked. The canyon walk was beautiful and our guide was very knowledgeable and funny! Highly recommend! :) and they also picked... More

Our guide Tim was very knowledge and informative. The sights were fantastic. We even got to watch Ice Climbers working the 'Queen' falls. It is so quiet and serene walking the canyon floor with the sound of the river running under you. We saw small Brown trout trapped in a pool, and fossils

That kind of beauty can only be seen in the winter! In the summer it's covered in water. Our guide Carly was very knowledgeable and you could tell she loves what she does!

We had gone as a school trip, a group of 11 students and 4 adults. Our guides were so kind, considerate and enthusiastic throughout the whole walk. John was our leader and had great stories on the way there and on the way back. Everyone was laughing and enjoyed every story. Sarah the other guide had enjoyed our company so... More
