This summer my boyfriend and I took his two kids white water rafting. This was a first for all of us. The tour takes a little bit to get started, as everyone has to get into the their gear and a safety briefing has to be done before hitting the water. But don't fear! Its well worth the process and... And do it with these guys! We'd been looking to raft somewhere on our travels and soon realised that the season was rapidly ending. We wanted a good experience but couldn't spare a whole day being bussed here and there. Maligne Adventures fitted the bill. We could drive to the launch site and the bus back after a few hours... We enjoyed the afternoon. The guide was very personable and kept everyone on board interested with stories and explanations of some of the features along the river bank. We have been on a number of previous raft runs. Personally I would like to taken one of the other more intense runs but we had a couple of people with us... More

We had some visitors from the Netherlands and we decided to let them enjoy the rafting experience with us. We were all seniors and the Class II family rafting was perfect. Even though the weather was on the cool side, the wetsuits kept us reasonably warm. Our visitors enjoyed it so much they are still talking about it every day!

Took our son and girlfriend for their first experience and it was amazing. We had a raft to ourselves and a great guide. We had booked weeks ahead as my son was coming from UK. The weather changed dramatically and we went from plus 26 to 3 in 24 hrs. When we set out it was 3 degrees and sunny... More

Last day of the season & our Lucky Day! We were staying in Valemount (about 1 1/2 hrs west of Jasper) so wanted to find a company that did whitewater rafting in the Mount Robson area rather than travel to Jasper. Spent about 1hr 45 actually on the water doing class 2 & 3 rapids with Robby (from NZ) as... More

After turning off of the Yellowhead Highway, it took us 45 minutes to get to Maligne Lake. Maligne Adventures (where we bought our tickets) suggests giving yourself an hour to get to the lake. The speed limit on the road is 60km/hr at most because of wildlife. We didn't see any but that doesn't mean they aren't around. Nice lodge... More

The company were really nice, the guide/drive was also quite nice, not as chatty as most guides, but the wildlife search is just not worth the money, maybe we were expecting too much but I really don't think we were. On the trip all you do is drive up and down the highways and hope to stumble upon some wildlife,... More

Maybe the expectations were too high but the canyon run was a slight disappointment. (note that before kids we did the Fraser River in BC so our comparison might be a little high). Before we get to that let's talk about the numerous good things. First the staff were great. From the front desk to the driver to the guides... More
