Maligne adventures is a highly advertised attraction in Jasper. We took the family-rated canyon run right below the falls, rated category 2+ and touted as the ultimate family adventure. The trip starts at the company offices in Jasper where you board an old school bus (a relic) to the rafting site and after a thorough training, change to a wet... More

We had the pleasure of taking an Athabasca River rafting trip with this company. It was a great experience. This is an efficient, friendly, professional and well run company.

I went on the Sunwapta run with my boyfriend (it was our first time rafting) and we really enjoyed it! The people who work at Maligne Adventures are awesome and the attraction is organized very well. The bus ride to the river was only about 45-50 min so not too long. The equipment seemed really good (self bailing rafts, booties,... More

Our family used Maligne for a fishing trip to Maligne Lake, and then took the Fraser River rafting trip. Both were fantastic experiences for our kids, and entire family. Trevor and Cort did amazing job on the Lake for our fishing guided trip - very patient with the kids using the fly lines. The rafting trip was led by Jeff... More

I had a great time doing this, it was my first time white water rafting but the staff are great and make shore you have a great time, as any wear in the Rockies the mozzies are pretty bad so I would spray some insect repellant before going on your neck and feed the wetsuit and jacket has you pretty... Cover up as the things were like small aircraft while waiting to gear up. Pleasant hour drive from jasper, fraser water little low for seasoned rafters but informative trip down which was just under 2 hours. Well run

Very professional, great gear, beautiful views! Our hike lasted three hours and the frozen waterfalls were amazing. We did the evening hike in April so it was light throughout and not too cold. The tour guide was lovely and personable and we even got to go spelunking quickly. Such a great experience!

This was a great hike into the canyon. Our guide knew a lot about the area and was very friendly and easy to talk with. There had been some warmer temperatures before we went and though it made for a nicer walking day, we couldn't get deep into the canyon because of the melted ice. It was still worth the... More

I loved it. Our guide was patient and knowledgeable. I learned so much. He was funny and so very interesting. The griperoos made it easy to walk.

We went on the icewalk tour on April 1 in the afternoon. When we arrived at the office we were told it would be a modified tour because of flooding in the deepest part of the canyon. I had great expectations before going, based on what other people had told me, as well as, on what I had seen online.... More

Trevor L, Manager at Maligne Adventures, responded to this review

We are sorry to hear you were disappointed with your Icewalk in early April. The Maligne Canyon is a spectacular place but we are at the mercy of the weather here in the mountains and some unexpected flooding did occur due to warm temperatures and heavy snow. We were keeping a close eye on the water levels and were surprised... More
