Done the tour of the Maligne Canyon twice now with this company. Excellent guides with good knowledge of the ice area, where it all comes from and goes. And very saftey aware. They don't let anyone from their group go int unsafe area's of the ice.. Only dislike are the crampons, not the easiest thing to put on if you... More

I made a quick trip with my family to Jasper in the last week of December,2015. We stayed in a place called CabinCove - a basement suite at reasonable prices. We did the 1pm Maligne canyon icewalk and it was just awesome. It was a paid guided 3 hour trek and they provided water proof boots and cleats. The cleats... More

Booked for a Xmas day trip to the Maligne Canyon with this company. Pick up was punctual, leaders ensured our footwear was good and provided cleats for safe walking. Our guide was well informed, relaxed, yet still ensured all was safe on the ice in the canyon. Great trip, even saw the sun go down behind Whistler. Would recommend this... More

Took a guided walk through the canyon in the winter and got to walk on an ice river. The scenery and attractions were very impressive. If you are in Jasper during the winter, this is a must do experience.

We did the ice canyon hike on Christmas Day and loved it! Our guides Shane and Brody were excellent, and the views were amazing. Great way to work up an appetite for Christmas dinner. Even though it was Christmas, our guides made us feel like there was nowhere else they'd rather be. The hike was very scenic and parts in... More

We had a wonderful morning's fishing with Courtnall our guide, caught 4 trout on Maligne Lake , had a bald eagle try to grab the first one. Our guide was a mine of information, rally knowledgeable about the area Maligne lake is stunningly beautiful, especially the upper reaches, and we also enjoyed the boat cruise to Spirit Island. Lastly we... More

My husband and I went out on the Canyon Run on the Athabasca river. Luke was our guide and made sure we got a good soaking in the glacier water. As our first rafting attempt, it gave us a great idea of what it could be like without taking us out of our comfort zone. There were few splashy bits... More

Having arrived in the beautiful town of Jasper on a Saturday evening with no particular plans for Sunday, we were looking for a trip where we could enjoy the beautiful landscape of the area without too much physical activity for the next day. Our hotel was conveniently located opposite the offices of Maligne Adventures. We chose the Lake Cruise, which... More
