The scenery was breathtaking and well worth doing. Those who are interested in Whitewater -this is not the trip There was a few Class 2- 3 rapids however those interested in a relaxing float trip with mild rapids this is fine and very nice for young kids The guides were very knowledgeable with alot of good stories about the history... First time rafting for me, and thoroughly enjoyed myself! White water it's not but we has a few bumps and splashes. But at this time of year the river is low. A great first rafting experience!

Out of our group of 30, 24 arrived in Jasper with jasper raft tours. It was late in a frosty day when we got to the starting point but everyone was provided with a stylish yellow plastic cape and hood and life jacket. For those who did the ride they said it was exciting but very cold, but wouldn't have... More

Four of us did a half day rafting trip down the Athabasca River with this tour company in mid-August. Before we boarded the raft they helped us with the life vests and made sure we all were adequately instructed on how to ride the raft. Our tour guide Jim was excellent. We really enjoyed the trip and probably will do... More

We did not know what to expect, but it was great. Our rafting guide was in total control, and really entertaining. We did get a little wet, but who cares?

If a first time rafter looking for a not-too-fast a river, but with some small sets of rapids, you gotta go to Jasper Raft Tours for a ride down the Athabasca River. Great staff, very friendly and helpful, and they made sure all were at ease before and during the ride. Ben, our rafting guide, was not only entertaining, but... More

A bus picked us up from the hotel and took us straight to the launch point, approximately 17 km from Jasper. Quiet nice, very cool people and we saw lots of wild animals

Level 2 white water which is calm. Everyone on the raft was over 50. One person was 93 and one was 88! Hold on tight, and expect to get wet on your backside with cold 18 hour ice melt from the Athabasca glacier. Wear sneakers or water shoes. Bring a waterproof camera or a pocket size in a small plastic... More

A little nervous having never been on a raft before but this was just amazing. Much easier than anticipated and not as scary but ever so peaceful to float down the Athabasca River and see a whole new perspective of the area. This was a highlight of our trip so go ahead and book. You won't regret it. Thanks to... More
