“Snowshoed this trail”

Good for beginners who are in shape as there is a steady incline all the way to the top. You are surrounded by trees most of the way up, but still nice surroundings. Snow was packed but not as packed as other trails in the area. Fed some birds in the parking lot afterwards since they flew to my car.... More

Not for beginners, but the Bald Hills Trail is a great day trip. The first part of the hike is up an old fire road, but make sure you go the extra steps up to the plateau above. That gives access to three separate peaks all with great views of Maligne Lake far below and of the surrounding valleys. If... More

We started this hike at 8:10 a.m., finishing at 1:20 p.m., including a 30 minute stop on top to eat and enjoy the spectacular views.
