I really liked that the runs were really spaced out in comparison to other ski hills, and here is a good mix between beginner to advanced runs.

I said it all in the title. Perfect sugary powder, not a single wait for a lift, great tree runs, outback, groomed runs they have something for everybody! Worth a visit, worth the drive.

My son (9) and I skied at Marmot for two days. The conditions were great and we rarely stood in line ups. There are so many runs that we had a lot of variety. The high speed quad chairs make it easy to do lots of runs each day. We were thoroughly exhausted at the end of day two. Definitely... More

First time skiing in the mountains, had a great time. Marmot Basin was easy to find, set up conveniently for purchasing ski passes, renting ski equipment and parking. The skiing was great, all the runs were open. The staff in the main chalet restaurant was great, really friendly, good food and price was right. Even though it was very busy,... More

With 7 ski lifts and 86 runs, Marmot Basin is not the biggest ski area in the Canadian Rockies. However, the potential for offpiste skiing is great, especially in the Eagle East area. The ski area offers lots of parking, and three different on-hill food and beverage sites. Marmot Basin fits both families with small kids, and friends looking for... More

Beautiful scenery, great conditions, awesome fast lifts and friendly staff! From buying the tickets to the friendly staff on the mountain and in the lodge, a great experience overall. Rates are reasonable for such a large mountain with vast options for skiers of all levels. Being in the Mountains adds to experience, of course and the town-site of Jasper offers... More

With a group of 10 adults and six children aged 6-13 years of age, organizing a ski trip is somewhat complex. We drove to the hill in 4 separate vehicles encountering no problems the early arrivals parked in the first level car park, while the others were forced to park further up in car parks 3 and 4. Once reaching... More

Marmot Basin is a fantastic relaxed ski resort. Family friendly with maxi of runs for all abilities. Super skiers may find limited super difficult runs, for the rest of us, great fun to be had. No queues for lifts, happy staff and reasonably priced and tasty food. Parking is easy, ski in ski out. Lockers available and nice clean bring-your-own... More

I've skied Marmot a few times and have always had a good time. Staff are very friendly and relaxed, and the hill has lots of runs for all levels of skiers and snowboarders.
