Absolutely love coming to Marmot Basin. This is where I learnt to ski when I was 16, and I've been visiting here every December since. Only downside is the high chairlift prices ($90~, but I think it's expensive everywhere else). Would definitely recommend visiting!

One of the best places to skii in North America! Lots of runs that are well kept, and good runs for all levels of difficulty! The food is good and you get great views :)

We are pretty new to snowboarding so both had lessons here. Highly recommend, the instructors were amazing and we both learnt so much in the one day we snowboarded. We finally felt we were getting it. All of the workers are happy and a couple of times i needed the ski lift slowed down and they were happy to help.... More

I love marmot, it is where I learned to snowboard when I was probably 13. I like that is has lots of different levels so if your group wants to got to they top there is usually a way down for each skill type. Food section is great! Love snowboarding here. Cons are parking can be very full sometimes pushing... More

I love Marmot Basin. I think it is the best place to ski in Alberta (I have skied them all). The snow this past season was amazing, but regardless, it is a great place to ski. You can access the hill from each of the four parking lots, unlike the other hills in Alberta. The chairs are fast, although I... More

Favorite ski area in the Rockies. May not be the biggest or have the fastest lifts, but it has character and the best bushwhacking of the mountain resorts in Alberta!

Very good hill to ski and snowboard on. The hills are well kept and the lifts are in good working order. Unfortunatly when I was snowboarding I fell down and was hit by a girl and when I went to brace myself for the impact I broke my right arm. I felt instantly it was broken. At the time of... More

We drove up the road to see the Marmot Basin, only to find the road closed. It was an extremely hot day and we didn't know how far we would have to walk to actually get to the top.

We have been to Marmot Basin many times over the last few years. We found it to be the best ski hill for family skiing. there is a wide range of runs from very easy to more difficult. Very rarely was there ever big line ups for the chairs.

This was the second time I've been here, this place is awesome, it's not very crowded, they have really nice equipment, the staff is very helpful and you can spend the whole day in there. I had a beer on the evening before heading to our hotel, it was simply great.
