Skied for 2 days with the family late April 2013. Was very late in the season (8 days before the mountain closed for the season), but the snow was still excellent. Even some nice powder at the top. There were 5 of us skiing - 2 x intermediate and 3 x beginners. Hadn't booked anything when we turned up at... More

Went Skiing at Marmont Basin in the middle of April, must say the conditions where excellant this year. Took our whole family and spent 3 days skiing. Very little to no line-ups at any of the chair lifts, staff was friendly and courtious. Ate lunch at the Hill, prices where reasonable and the beer was excellant. This hill has numerous... More

I find the runs are short compared to other ski hills, but it has it's merits. varied terrain geared towards intermediate and beginners. Biggest annoying thing is being scanned every single time you are in the line for the lifts, they have to come up with a better system.

Marmot Basin is not a large as some of the other ski resorts in Alberta, but the short queue and the wide variety of terrain make this a great mountain experience!

Marmot has grown over the years from a tiny local ski hill to a large ski resort with many high speed lifts. And it still keeps its unique charm. There is a good variety of runs with areas to please absolutely everyone. The only complaint now is that we get worn out skiing since there are no lift lines, so... More

Skied Marmot on Tuesday April 2; beautiful sunny day and awesome conditions for this time of year. There were no line ups for the lifts and every run was pure pleasure. I am disappointed we did not spend more time as we left here to head to Kimberly Mountain Resort where the snow had taken a terrible beating.

Marmot is not just great for skiing, but the view is absolutely breathtaking. The food is very, very good with is not necessarily standard at some ski area's. When in Jasper do not miss Marmot Basin, it's only minutes from the town of Jasper

Marmot is a great resort for families and all levels of skier. There are lots of green runs at the bottom that are great for beginners and a variety of terrain on the rest of the mountain to satisfy any level of skier or snowboarder. The lift lines were very short and most of the lifts we used were high... More

Spent two days with my family at Marmot. It could not have been better. So far this year we have skied and snowboarded at Louise, Sunshine, Norquay and now Marmot and we all picked Marmot as our favourite The kids an d I are intermediate to advanced and we found lots of runs to challenge us, plus lots of green...
