I gave up downhill skiing over 10 years ago due to a leg injury, and thought I would never take part in this sport again, however a friend encouraged and coaxed me to give it another try....and boy was I glad. The leg held up well. But I need to comment on how great this ski hill is. There are... More

The snow at Marmmot is indescribable. It is like you go to a powder heaven that just keeps getting better and better. There are so many little offshoots, tree-routes, and cut ins you can check out, you will never get board doing the same run. We went on Family day, and even though it was busy, you could hardly tell.... More

The skiing was fantastic, primarily due to perfect snow and weather conditions. Havent skied there in 30 years! Good for family and expert skiers.

I've ridden literally every ski resort in BC and Alberta (over 1500 ft (yes, literally all of them)). This is definitely in my top 5. Not too crowded so the snow stays fresh pretty long after a storm. There are no lift lines and they have a decent little park as well. But most importantly, if you're willing to hike... More

Beeing from Germany and used to the crowded resorts there I was pleasently suprised. There was hardly anyone out there even though it was a Sunday. That way the perfectly groomed tracks stayed in a good condition all day long. Nice variety for all skiiers, I wouldn't - however - stay longer than 2 days here. No waiting at the... More

Skiing conditions and facilities at Marmot were great on a recent visit. There were a lot of food choices, although a bit pricey, the food was tasty. The group ski lessons were not individualized or helpful to improve technique or confidence.

My family loves coming here and with our grandkids taking up the skiing its nice to have a coffee or glass of wine and enjoy the view waiting for them to get... More

Marmot Basin never disappoints. Great conditions, wide variety of runs for all levels, clean and roomy chalet, and friendly staff. Always looking forward to go back.
