It was our first time skiing outside on a real slope and it was amazing! We bought a ski pass and booked a level two lesson which cost, roughly, £200 including ski hire. The lesson didn't go so well for me as the slope was much different to the indoor slope we had used previously. The camber and icy patches... More

We recently visited Marmot for the first time with our family and we had such a wonderful time I had to send a note off about our experience. We decided to take a spontaneous trip to Jasper as we told our kids we would take them skiing this year and we have no snow here in Sherwood Park. We jumped... More

I truly enjoy Marmot Basin and come to ski there at least once per winter. It's not as busy as Lake Louise/Sunshine village and there are plenty of different runs for all ski/snowboard levels. Personally I enjoy black runs and there were plenty of those.

We recently came skiing over spring break. I was concerned that it might be overcrowded because so many areas had the same spring break this year. I was pleasantly surprise. The line ups were almost non existent, and the snow was phenomenal! The deep fried perogies were delicious as we're the French fries!

I did not ski, but my husband and son did. Seemed to be lots if black diamond slopes, but there are many green and blue trails too. While waiting for them the views are spectacular!

This is a fantastic ski area. I say better than Banff. Less crowded and great snow. Lots of runs with all types of difficulty. Nice mid mountian chalet and good food and staff

This ski area is based in Jasper national park. These are the positives. The lift to mid mountain and top mountain are fast. The bar/ dining area on the lower mountain is large. The bus service is generally on time. There is a lovely quirky man who drives you there! there a few runs for green and blue and a... More

Our girls 7 & 9 tried skiing for the first time. We did the 2 hour beginner class. The girls really enjoyed it and the older one was able to tackle the ski hill after the one lesson. Thank you!

This is the ski resort we visit most frequently because of how close it is to Edmonton and we love it. While the runs are no extremely long, there is something for all skill levels. And the new lifts really help to move everyone fast, ensuring that lines are short.

We visited marmot basin on Sunday of their 50th birthday weekend. There was lots of people but no lift lines! Our group was two expert skiers with a five year old who can ski blue runs. We had a great time and enjoyed the huge variety of runs. We hit the mountain during a storm cycle so the snow off... More
