This is a skiers paradise. Not as busy as Banff or Whistler and the skiing is fantastic. The scenery is beautiful and you'll find many more locals than you will tourists. I went as a beginner and took lessons. I was doing very well at the end of the day. The instructors were very patient and fun! This is definitely... More

Beautiful scenery, beautiful place, very friendly and helpful people. Not much more to say other than this is by far the best place I've ski'd. Would go back in a heart beat!

It isn't as big as the hills to the south but it has it's own character, fun terrain and even at its most busy it never feels crowded. The lines never last longer than one or two minutes. The tickets are pretty expensive.

I had my first experience skiing here with my school group last Easter and I have to say, I can't think of anywhere better. There was a good variety of runs as I progressed from beginner to just okay at skiing. The views were spectacular from the top and we all had a fantastic time. The instructors were amazing and... Instead of driving we opted to catch the "free shuttle" up to the ski field . These left quite regularly and were on time . The ski field itself was excellent !! Great runs , uncrowded chairs , friendly staff , well marked & a variety of trails . The café for lunch was basic but well priced & nice... More

Lots of options and reasonable pricing. We ate at the cafeteria at the lower chalet and did not try the lounge or upper chalets. Very busy during lunch hours but we were still able to get a table. Typically you are not there for the food so it definitely met our expectations.

I have skied all around the world and I truly LOVE coming back to ol' Marmot. There is something for everyone here. There are so may little corners to just lose yourself in. Going back at Christmas time was like coming home. It was still a little early in the season and Knob Chair wasn't running yet, but that was... More

We have been skiing here for a week at Spring Break for several years, and I can give it a good overall rating as a family destination ski area for many reasons. It has good facilities, friendly atmosphere, lots of variety for skiing at various levels and it is priced right. Intermediate skiers will find the terrain excellent and extensive.... More

Awesome scenery and nice gentle slopes for learning. Staff were very helpful & enthusiastic & wanted us to improve so went the extra mile! Enjoyed so much that we went up again the next day. Skiing is a costly hobby but prices are comparable to anywhere else in the world. Good ski packages for learners/intermediate with lessons so very happy!... More
