We travelled up to the resturant and had our breakfast at the top of the mountain, The food was ok for that time of the morning and we then explored around and seen the wildlife and then going down was steep and loved the views as well.

The tram ride is slower than others, which makes it nice because you can see more. The top is a little chilly, so wear bring a light jacket! You can see a lot from the too. Gophers and little flowers are a common sight. Can easily spend an hour or two up there! Defiantly worth it. Staff was friendly, and... More

Hardly a cloud in the sky helps a trip like this. It's a cable car journey like any other but quite a long and spectacular one. Once there, you can just enjoy walking around the views or try spotting ground squirrels or marmots, or you can eat in the restaurant. You can hike on upwards for another half hour to... More

If you are in the area it is worth the time. The normal waiting in line but once you are at the top you can take your time. Bring a jacket it can be cold even in summer. Dan

the ride on the tram is great and so is hiking up to the summits. my only problem is with the staff for the tram and at the restaurant. they are VERY RUDE and never seem to be in a good mood. (I have been here 3 times in 3 years) Also most of them at work on the tram... More

Love taking the little hike up to the top of the mountain - such an incredible view! Always like to find a rock to sit on to take in the beauty and breathe in the fresh air. Very therapeutic! Been here about 5 times over the years and will likely be back.

This is a most for visitors to the Jasper Area. The views from the top are really terrific and you can see Mt Robson (the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies) to the WNW., and how the town of Jasper forms a "J" on the landscape. :) The restaurant and gift shop are just okay, but that is not what... This tram was very nice! The views from the top are excellent, though the restaurant and gift shops are overpriced (expected.) This tram offered great views over the valley, but was basically just a viewing platform at the top. If you are heading down to Banff, I would recommend that tram over this one.

Riding the tram is an excellent way to get the lay of the land. We didn't walk all the way to the top but nevertheless enjoyed the view from the tram station. Riding the tram itself is fun as it zips up the mountain.

The hike was a bit hard, but I out it down to the altitude. Take it slow and the views are well worth it.
