We finally had a clear day to go up the Jasper Sky Tram. It's a little expensive at $35/per person, but the views at the top are definitely worth it. They do pack you in like sardines, so if you like your personal space, this is not the ride to the top for you!! Once you get to the top,... More

We loved our ride on the Sky Tram and the views from the top. We walked around on the trail at the top until we ran into ice then headed back. Good hot chocolate in the restaurant too.

There are many Sky Trams throughout the Rockies, so you may think you have seen it all when you have tried one. However each one has it's own uniqueness. This one was very well organised, we got onto the skytram within 10 minutes of arriving. Once up the top there was a cafe/restaurant/souvenir shop. However we opted to go up... More

The 'tram' whisks you high up the mountain but you still have a significant climb to reach the top. Remember that you are high enough for the oxygen supply to make it harder work. Definitely worth it for the views and once you reach the top there is the potential to roam over quite a large area.

This trip is worth the wait to go to the top. The day we when it was clear and we could see for miles. The young man that took us up was very knowledge about the area and give us a little talk on the way up. The site from up top was great. I would certain remand you do... More

Great Jasper tramride up Whistler Mountain and then fantastic trek to summit, very cold, very windy had to hang on to each other for fear of being blown over on exposed side of mountain, tremendous fun even for oldies! Reached top for photo shoot and even windier with snow storm and minus temps in September. Rugged walk down, wear sensible... More

Unseasonal snow meant the temperature on our visit in early September was -5 degrees C. Great views over Jasper and the surrounding valleys. The place is like Whistler in that all the staff are young Australians.

Allow yourself some time if you are going to take this trip. I had to wait an hour for a cable car and it really wasn't a large crowd. It's not like Louise Lake where there are many chairs and gondolas going at a steady pace. Two cars and long lines. Somewhat pricey. Be prepared at the top for cold... More

Only wish we'd been able to spend more time here and been able to take some of the trails. Views great, landscape fascinating and the commentary in the cable car hilarious! No bears on our trip unfortunately!

Based on the Trip Advisor reviews we decided to pay the $40 for the return shuttle ( from/to Jasper) plus the Skytram today. We were both so pleased we did this. The panoramic view from the top is stunning. Worth every cent. It's a 7 min ride up in the Skytram and trams run every 9 mins. This is a... More
