We were travelling between Jasper and Banff while the wildfires were burning in Banff NP and the staff here were very helpful in advising about the highway closures and options available to us. They also provided maps, information on restaurants and advice about driving out to Maligne Canyon and Lake.

It is right in the centre of Jasper and really pretty. The staff are helpful and we got some great advice on what to do locally. Well worth going in for a chat if you are a visitor.

Great staff! Also had a kids' activity book that we brought back on our way out of town 4 days later and our daughter got a certificate, a small gift and made a pledge to care for our national parks. So awesome!

My "overall rating" above is for Jasper Information Centre located in Jasper National Park. If I'm not mistaken, the picture above is of the Information Center at Mt. Robson BC, which is not in Jasper. The address given above is correct for Jasper, however the picture above Is about an hours drive West of Jasper on the Yellowhead highway. I... More

We had gone to this place a few years back. This is a natioal park in Alberta. There is a big Glaciar here which is worth a visit. They have big trucks to take the passengers on the Glaciers. That was an interesting ride on .the Glaciers. Though we do have bigger Glaciers in Himalayas, we have no convenient way... More

The Jasper Visitors center should be your first stop in Jasper. They have lots of information about the area and British Columbia. There are staff on hand to answer your questions about the trails and various places to visit. Located next to the center of town and just across from the train, this historic building is worth visiting just for... More
