Staff were very knowledgeable in helping us decided which hikes to pick and what wildlife we were likely to see. Most staff spoke French and English. Lovely gift shop from which all profits go to the upkeep of the park.

Great information regarding road closures, helpful and informative. Lovely gift shop attached where we bought several items - proceeds go to the Friends of Jasper which is great.

The centre is well presented just near the Transit Centre in a beautiful building that was originally built for the Superintendent of the Jasper National Park. The staff there are friendly as are most of the people in Jasper and eager to provide info about this wonderful place.

We were travelling between Jasper and Banff while the wildfires were burning in Banff NP and the staff here were very helpful in advising about the highway closures and options available to us. They also provided maps, information on restaurants and advice about driving out to Maligne Canyon and Lake.

It is right in the centre of Jasper and really pretty. The staff are helpful and we got some great advice on what to do locally. Well worth going in for a chat if you are a visitor.

Great staff! Also had a kids' activity book that we brought back on our way out of town 4 days later and our daughter got a certificate, a small gift and made a pledge to care for our national parks. So awesome!

My "overall rating" above is for Jasper Information Centre located in Jasper National Park. If I'm not mistaken, the picture above is of the Information Center at Mt. Robson BC, which is not in Jasper. The address given above is correct for Jasper, however the picture above Is about an hours drive West of Jasper on the Yellowhead highway. I... More
