You should see this if only as it is disappearing so fast. They have a nice trip you can take on the ice field that is filled with very cool information, not only about the ice field, but about things like the trees that look so small and young, yet are really 300 years old, and only grow 18 days... This is the starting point for both the skywalk and glacier trip. Its heaving with tourists but unfortunately this is where both this trips start with Brewster shuttle buses. Queues are long at the ticket office and if you have pre-purchased a ticket you go to another desk to book your visit time. We had bought a package at Banff... More

We stood in this building and closed our eyes and could imagine we were in the London Bridge or Tokyo rush hour. Calling in here is absolute madness! Halls full of people queuing and shoving and shouting, waiting for expensive glacier trips, and interrupted by messages on the speakers to say some tour or other is about to leave. Upstairs... More

I did not take the glacier tour offered by the Icefield Centre but the building itself is too jampacked with too, too many people. Lines are long and the crowd is awful. Walk across the street and view the glacier instead.

We visited outside of school holidays on a Sunday morning, we arrived fairly early morning and the crowds were not too bad, we exchanged our prebooked tickets for timed ones and waited for the tour bus. There was not too long a wait for the bus which took 4 minutes to arrive at the Snow Crawlers to drive onto the... More

Liked the amazing scenery along the Icefield Parkway and there were lots of rest areas to stop and take pictures

The way this place is run is a shame. The only place one can eat is in this center. The food is the worst that I have had and they charge you heavily. The place is full with no place to move about. Pack your food before you come here and do not eat in this place. The staff of... More

This is the place to get out on the icefields and the new Skywalk. Luckily, we booked our tickets online, so it wasn't as crazy for us as it would have been otherwise. The line for getting tickets was really long and slow. The upstairs café could be better organized, too.

We were on a tour or the Ice Fields, and lunch was included. The food was horrible and the service even worse. We were pushed into the restaurant in groups of four and hurried into the buffet line. The whole Centre was jammed packed with people everywhere. But, that's the price you pay to visit the Ice Field, which was... More

They have a captive audience as it is one of the few places to stop between Jasper and Banff but that is no excuse for the appalling food they serve in the restaurant. Every sandwich was poor with flabby salad, a cheese square, very low quality tuna ....need I go on?! I write this as if one person reads it... More
