Nice distance to Grande Prairie but still out in nature. Nice campsites, walking trails, can see wildlife, and in season pick saskatoons. Unfortunately it is not a lake you would want to swim in.

Group use camp area is great! This would be a perfect location for large family reunions or just a great place for groups to get together for camping. There is lots of wide open space, right beside a children’s playground, an outhouse, and a very small walk from a wash house (with showers and flush toilets). Well kept camping area... More

campsites are family friendly, very active during th daytime, the lake is much like any lake in Alberta, a algea riddled slough. but the camp stalls are semi private.

I did not camp here but I am a Geocacher. I visited the area to do the Geocaches in the area and loved the walking trails and sites:)

Little disappointing, more geared to campers than to a short visit. It is amazing to see a large lake surrounded by farm fields. Perhaps we were too early in the season for the park area to be fully operational. Positive side of that was we didn't have to pay to get in!
