A Good Venue

There is not a bad seat here (unless you get behind a post). Attended many football games and a few concerts. Great atmosphere, staff who work there are very helpful and friendly.

Still one of the best stadiums in the country. BC place is better but it is newer and has a super renovation. Great access by lrt and the park and ride. Went here as a kid and now take my kids to eski games and took my daughters soccer team to the womens world cup opener

We went to a football game at Commonwealth stadium. There was good access that allowed the crowds to get to the stadium easily. We didn't know which door to go to and asked an employee who sent to the right entrance. On getting to our seat, the seats all seemed to have a good view. The seats themselves were large... More

Commonwealth Stadium is a great place to watch live events. The seating has been upgraded and is more roomy and comfortable, the staff and volunteers are always cheerful and helpful, the venue itself is clean and spacious. And you can't attend without getting a stadium hot dog or burger!

Always a pleasure to come back to Commonwealth for a football game. Best place in the CFL by a mile! Great facilities, atmosphere and sight lines.

First time to commonwealth. Took the LRT as recommended however took over 1hr to get a train back. Not enough liquor vendors and lineups everywhere, not set up for 55,000. Overall like the facility but would prefer to attend larger concerts in Vancouver or elsewhere instead as I don't live in Edm and have to drive/fly anyway.

An hour in line...still not through! Need a better set up!!!!!! It was the same for other concerts, you would think they would fix it.

Commonwealth Stadium got its name when Edmonton hosted the Commonwealth games in 1978. This opened the facility to the world, and opened Edmonton to a great venue for big name Rock concerts and of course as the home of our beloved Canadian Football League, Edmonton Eskimos. Although an enclosed stadium would be preferred by many for this northern climate, we... More
