My 15 year old son and I watched a great video about the history of our province....very glad we took the time! Well done. Next we went for a tour of the Legislature. What an... More

Toured the new visitor center and took in the multimedia presentation. The presentation was interesting and the technology used to do it was impressive. The building is beautiful though the fountain/waterfalls wasn't working the day we were there, but I'm sure it will be peaceful and relaxing when it is. The outdoor fountains and grounds are beautiful and well maintained.... More

In a city lacking in old world charm, the stunning Legislature Building was a breath of fresh air when we stumbled upon it! Unfortunately, we arrived too late to explore it internally as we were only minutes shy of its 5pm closing time, however we were able to admire its facade, and watch the locals happily splash to their hearts... Beautiful legislative building and well worth the time to go see. Take the tour that lasts between 30-45 minutes. It is highly informative and takes you to different sections of the building.

The architecture was amazing. Plan for a 3 hour visit to get the tour included. Bring extra clothes as the kids can play in most of the fountains in front of the ALB. The 12 min presentation on Alberta in 4D was way cool. It is in a different building but worth the 5 min walk.

Beautiful. Take the tour, and then hang out in the wading pool after (don't forget your swim trunks).

We walked from the Strathcona side via the High Level Bridge. Easy and beautiful walk at sunset. The grounds are a beautiful park-like setting. The front of the building had a reflecting pool and they let kids wade and play in it! I can't imagine a government doing this in the U.S. Hard to describe how nice this is. Take... More

This place is great just to walk around and people watch or find a corner to just sit and relax. It is a great place to take kids or family gatherings. Edmonton could sure use some rain though as I don't remember ever seeing that dry. Smoke is also in the air, and heavy, I guess from the fires up... More

A good place to spend a family day. If you want to be part of a crowd and celebrate with people, this is a great place for you on Canadian holidays such as Canada Day. If you want to have a quiet time and enjoy fresh air,, this is also an excellent place on regular days. I enjoy the food... More
