Liked the architecture and attached lands/gardens. Tour focused too much on historical detail I found rather dull - details about custom and meaning of ceremony etc. rather bringing to life the individuals and events shaping the province's history.

Spent a few days in gardens/ poolside because of lovely weather but there was a lack of comfortable seating. Might I suggest deck chairs/ sun loungers for hire

A great place to take the family in the summer. There are three great pools for playing and swimming in. Lots of lovely gardens and treed areas for a picnic.

The Legislature is the political hub of power for The Province of Alberta. Currently driven by the Conservative trying to stay afloat after a disastrous premier and daughter whom drove the office of entitlement almost to bankruptcy. Her personal suite and affluence was cancelled and the province is back on track for another fiery election. The building is of sandstone... More

Went here again on Canada Day. The grounds are huge &, manicured. You can see a lot, free & even easy accress to a bridge that has a walking path over the river. The LRT (light rail transit) goes right there. Much better to take that - finding parking is hard & expense.

Parking is a bit scarce but the place was uncrowded thanks to a downpour. Our guide, Gianna, struck just the right tone: energetic and humorous. The building appears to be in great shape and the history is very interesting. The chamber itself looks quite modern and is much more spacious than London 's, where MPs don't even have desks. I... I saw this building from a distance and thought it was impressive, so I decided to check it out. While it is definitely beautiful and one of the top historic sites, there isn't much to do because of all the construction. Apparently there are tours offered, as well as special events. However, I did find that the building itself and... More
