Found this park in the ravine below a bridge in the middle of the craziness that is Edmonton. The day was +30 this outdoor pool was a welcome diversion with family rates of 20.00 for 6 this was an affordable diversion on a beautiful day. After the swim there were FREE nature trails to walk and small snacks, drinks, and... More

So many trails, gravel and asphalt, leading all over. Sheltered by trees when its hot and sunny in the winter, I swear there is a microclimate in the ravine that makes it always good for a run. I recommend it to everyone!

I loved the scenic walk with wife & friend. Beautiful streams and mini bridges. Great for winter photography.

We visited the park for a winter festival and found it quite attractive and pleasant despite some very cold weather. There are excellent, safe walking trails and good parking near the Millcreek outdoor pool (which during the summer is an excellent place for children to swim and cool off). You can find lots of birds and other wildlife particularly at... More

There are so many natural areas and parks in the city that its hard to rate any one above the others. I've been on many organized walks through the many parks and wilderness areas in the city through Meetup.com groups and Mill Creek is probably my favourite but only because of the funky coffee shops and restaurants that we stopped... Beautiful place to go for walks. Located in the river valley. There's picnic tables for BBQing and an outdoor public pool. It is not recommended to go there alone after dark though for safety issues.

This is ravine has two levels of paths. Those on the west side of the ravine are largely paved and include a wide multiuse thoroughfare (no motorized vehicles) that follows the old railway route from about 73 Ave north. It is paved from 76 Ave north. The east side of the ravine is more rugged with steeper hills and lots... More

Mill Creek Ravine Park is a slice of wilderness in the middle of the city. The Upper Trails are a good network of paved trails perfect for running, stolling and biking, away from the heat and smell of the city. The Lower Trails are more natural areas popular with mountain bikers and dog walkers. Most of the lower trails are a... More

En route to the Tour d'Alberta this summer my husband and I spent an enjoyable afternoon biking the trails of Mill Creek Ravine. A refuge from the bustle of the city the park leads into the paved trails of the River Valley, all 160 km to explore!

I walked Mill Creek Ravine as a child and stopping to take my little one to the park was a great morning out. watching him run around in the fresh Canadian air, on grass that you can see forever is a far cry than Vegas. we then had a pic nic and enjoyed a snack before playing soccer...great morning
