Speeders is the worse place to go. A waste of time. They hype up how awesome it is there. It's not. Their carts don't even adjust. Which means if your not 5'1 or taller. Your not allowed to race. Pretty lame if your an adult and aren't going to grow anymore. They embarrassed 3 of our family members. Making us... More

We all went here for my friend's bachelor party. It was pretty fun though this is not my activity of choice. This was also the last time I spent time with another buddy who soon after died in a motor vehicle accident. I am confident that those who like go karts will like it here. *A larger friend of mine... I took my son and four of his friends here for his 14th birthday. $300 later we were ready to race. They did well on their first race. However one of his friends crashed during the second race and was told to walk back to the pits. OK, fine, it's in the rules they're made aware of this beforehand even... More

Hi Neil J, As you have stated, our staff did as trained and as explained in the rules and safety briefing before anyone gets on the track. When you have a confined area, with heavy race karts moving at high speeds, the last thing anyone wants is someone not in control or choosing to drive reckless. Our number one job... More

Hi Jason055, You are correct, our ProKarts are like no other. We have ours set faster than any other indoor tracks we have visited throughout North America. (why we call ourselves SPEEDERS) Thanks for your review. More

Expensive , but fun none-the-less. Great for amateurs and indoor-carting experts. Immaculately clean, friendly staff, and well-maintained equipment. Fantastic experience for a 13-year-old that's never driven a car.

You spend ridiculous amounts of money to race plus another $16 to buy a card you have to buy that expires in a year. Can't opt out. Also won't let you post a complaint about the money gauge. Be warned. They are stealing from you

Hi Whittycathleen, You get a FREE $20 race each year with your $16 annual race account. Already you are ahead before you even race. The account also offers over $600 in value with more free races and 52 weeks of specials. Plus, we have not raised our prices since our start in 2010. Ridiculous savings is right, we offer the... Venue - clean, good looking place. The owners spent money on this place. All electric karts, well lit, nice barricades vs old junky tires tire wall, nice art and posters on the walls Pricing - motor racing is not a cheap thing to get into at any level. So pricing is going to be on the higher side compared to most things. But it's... More

Don't agree with the $16 "annual membership", as I brought family from out of town that will probably will never go again in the next year. Races were fun, although the "no drifting" rule makes it less fun. Overall, it was a good experience.

Hi Firearrow, The race account is required for all drivers, it is how we assign you to races through our advance and specialized computer tracking and timing systems. It's practically free as it includes a free race for each person on the month of their birthday, plus specials and much more. Races are won by skill and fastest lap, drifting... More

I've been racing at Speeders pretty much since the place opened. Love going there and really wish I had more time to go more often. I've been doing this for a long time now. Back around 1997-98, Edmonton's first indoor kart track, Speed Zone, opened on the west end in an abandoned Safeway store. That was my first karting experience... More
