Description: Segway Edmonton's tour of the Edmonton River Valley is the first of it's...
Segway Edmonton's tour of the Edmonton River Valley is the first of it's kind.We employ a very thorough training program for riders of all experience levels. Upon arrival to Louise Mckinney park, you will watch a safety video about the operation of the Segway. We will then conduct a training session to cover all the skills required to safely operate a Segway.Once this is completed, we will depart and take an hour and a half tour through the River Valley with short stops to talk about the River Valley and the Segways. There will be a couple points where we will show you the top speed of the Segway in a safe, controlled environment.

Wonderful experience. Mike and the team were great to work with and everything was ready for us when we arrived. We enjoyed the lunch provided while sitting on the patio outside soaking up the sunshine. Joe was a terrific guide and was patient with instructions and feedback. Our group of 7 had such a good time we actually extended the... More

What a way to see the beautiful scenery at the River Valley in Edmonton! Mike was so great an patient with the un-experienced Icelanders :) I recommend River Valley Adventures to all visiting Edmonton.

Segway tour led by Mike was great. Now that I have my "licence", I'm looking forward to going back again and spending the full hour on the trails (as opposed to the 20 -30 minutes of training followed by 30 minutes on a tour). Great training for putting us at ease.

Our Segway tour guide was Mike, he made the tour lively and entertaining. It was so much fun, definitely a highlight of our trip. We did the 1 1/2 tour and found it well worth the extra cost. A great way to explore Edmonton's green space (without having to walk lol) Thanks Mike! You the best!!

We did this tour on Mother's Day. Our guide Joe was very comforting & reassuring of anyone who was nervous in our group. It was a great way to see parts of the river valley I would not have had the energy to see on foot. Joe was knowledgable & enthusiastic. This is a must for anyone who lives in... More

We had so much fun trying out a segway tour for the first time! The segways are pretty cool and what is nicer is riding them on a beautiful trainl by the river! Joe was a fantastic and funny instructor who made the ride seem easy and so much fun! Highly recommend it for the first timers! Enjoy =)

Edmonton is cold, cold, cold! We did a Segway tour and there were giant icebergs floating down the river...so needless to say you should really dress warm and in layers. Think two pairs of socks, gloves, a hat and a scarf. We've done Segway in the USA but they are not yet legal in Canada so we had to stick... More

Our department and external service provider did the tour as a team building exercise. It was lots of fun and a great experience. Joe is an excellent instructor and a really cool guy.
