The Winspear has a reputation for having some of the best acoustics in North America, if not the world. Many kinds of music are performed here but my favorite are the performances by the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra. Classics or Pops...they are great concerts. The Winspear staff are excellent. One word of advice...it is sometimes chilly so bring a sweater or... More

Fab acoustics! Great building. LRT access is very handy. Many restaurants in the area, downtown. Go there for concerts!

I really enjoy how nice this place is. Great sound effects. I'm hard of hearing and I don't have any problems enjoying the show. I'm going to another show at the end on March '14.

Went to the Symphony during Christmas with my mom and sister. We sat in the "cheap" seats at the very front right hand side. The sound was still excellent, you just could not see the whole orchestra but we knew this was going to be the case. I doubt that there is a bad seat in the house for sound... More

We enjoyed another wonderful night of symphony music (ESO) from way up in the gallery last Friday. The sound and view from there is as wonderful as it is from just about anywhere else in this well designed and modern facility. Those attending the public events here come from all strata of Edmonton society and enjoy great service from the... More

The Winspear is a Fabulous venue for all types of concerts. We have seen everything from classical to pop. The accoustics are fabulous. The last concert was Natalie McMaster. She knows how to truly put on a show. Her fiddling is great. She has a great sense of humor which makes her performance very entertaining.
