Acoustics extraordinaire!

What a wonderful location for a company gathering. The greeters were just wonderful. The acoustics are phenomenal. I have been many times before for the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra. They make you feel special every time you go.

The Winspear is one of the great acoustic experiences in the world. All genres of music sound phenomenal in this music hall. Many individuals (Brandi Carlile most recently) have sung a-cappella on stage beautifully. If you are visiting Edmonton, and love music, I would highly recommend checking out what's playing and see if you can get tickets. You will not... More

The sound and seating is excellent. I have had season tickets for some time and they do get great entertainers. They have a wonderful symphony orchestra that play for most occasions

A magnificent concert hall ! The symphony is outstanding too. Often hosts top class entertainers from all different genres. Well worth a visit if tickets can be obtained ( book early if possible)

Reminiscent of the old Globe theatre, the Winspear provides amazing sound quality for your hearing pleasure! The only drawback would be if you take seats in the upper balconies and sit too near the edge, anyone with a fear of height might not enjoy the experience as much! In that case, take a lower box or on the floor. It's... More

Beautiful building, acoustics are amazing. I really enjoyed the wine social during intermission. Absolutely fabulous. The elements outside the building such as parking and locals in the area that keep it from being a 10 out of 10.

I've been to many events at the Winspear. Everything from the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra to my Children's Elementary school concert. The sound is great and there isn't a bad seat in the building. We usually park in the "Library Parkade" which we access on the west side of the Citadel Theater. You can then get to the Winspear through Churchill... More

Recently we went to see Rosanne Cash, the performance was outstanding, and the facility the best in Edmonton. This beautiful facility is the star of Alberta. The programs are of the greatest quality and the sound, perfection. The seating is very comfortable and the site lines fantastic. We look forward to the variety of events, and the quality of sound.... More
