Great sound, fantastic ambiance, a real Edmonton landmark in the heart of the city. Surrounded by the art museum, the Citadel Theater and several posh hotels like the Sheraton, or the boutique Union Bank Inn

you really can't afford to miss this concert performance venue - while it boosts the best of the best in terms of technical and architectural features, not to mention the wonderful performances of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, this is a place which hosts a myriad of events the audience attends in whatever feels right, be it long gowns or jeans... The Winspear is an excellent choice for concerts and other functions. The concert we attended was put on by the Cosmopolitan Music Society of which my daughter is a member. The sound is fantastic and there isn't a bad seat in this venue. The only downside is the parking availablity. There are limited parking spots available so aim to get... More

We have attended the Edmonton Symphony Concerts since the 1970's..What a treat it was when the Winspear Centre was finally opened! No matter where one sits, the accoustics are so perfect, that one doesn't miss a note.. The programs offer something for music lovers of every stripe; the musicians are world class; the organ simply the finest. To visit the... More

This is an extremely well-built theatre. The seating is comfortable and the stage is visible from every seat. The acoustics are great. We attended a reception in the rehearsal hall prior to a concert, and it was nicely catered.

The theater is beautiful with wonderful sound. Enjoyed the CFCW concert I went to the other night. It's a little tight in the upper seating for walking past people who are already seated there but it's manageable. Make sure you mention if you need wheelchair accessibility.

This is my second year and I am sold on this series, it's entertaining, professional each concert out does the next. The facilities are world class. I highly recommend you get to see a performance with a variety to choose from for the deep classical to light Broadway

We attended the Winspear to see the band Chicago. How incredible!! Love the band but the sound @ Winspear is matchless. It really brought this band alive. Other words that describe the sound are: Superb, incredible, awesome and Amazing. If you have never been you are in for a treat!! Everything about this centre is first class. Look for concert... The Winspear Centre is one of the finest concert halls in the world. It doesn't matter where you are, the purity of every note played reaches your ear exactly as it was meant to to be heard. For the taller of us, some of the seating can be a small challenge, but the experience of being in the Winspear makes... More

I escort a senior gent who has season tickets to the ESO concerts. We both enjoy the concerts tremendously. The staff are friendly and very helpful. My friend is now in a wheelchair so we often need some help.I have attended over ten performances in the last year with this gent.. These performances are varied with guest soloist and conductors....
